Hi Christopher! The biggest point of difference between the two boards would be NMD/ VS's use of the PFS core and the WiFly tail. The PFS core is PP, but it also incorporates elongated bodyboard channels which are made of a fused mesh and enhance the boards rigidity which in turn maximises projection, recoil and speed. Whilst the WiFly uses a smaller release point in order to maximise both speed AND release. The V inlet on the WiFly tail should increase your waterflow and therefore speed too. The Hubboard Quad Core uses a PP foam with skintec and also incorporates a fifth channel. The bat tail is a pretty big point of difference here too. Bats can certainly offer enhanced release and speed through their narrow and emphasised hulls. However, as for their narrower hulls, the bat can be harder to turn in the face of the wave and subsequently can be harder to control in bigger stuff.
@@invertedbodyboarding there is much more info in this answer than in the video. lol. how about a 5min vid with some real info and take the plastic off!!
