I've been watching this documentary now for a few years, I have accumulated many books on the garden and the lives of Vita, Harold and Nigel. I would like to commend Nigel for propagating the memory of this famous garden created by his parents all those many years ago. We owe him a deep credit that thanks to his books and these interviews, Sissinghurst lives on!
Breathtakingly beautiful. Our UK cities & towns look & feel soulless without plants & trees, negatively framing people's minds. All Councils should encourage community public planting.🌼💚
Великолепие РИМА!!! Это руины! А каково было при Империи фантастика! И это провинция Ливия!!! Правда родина одного из Императоров Рима кажется из династии Северов
Just looking at these beautiful and wondrous gardens allows one’s eyes and soul savor their essence and inspire the beholder to create gardens of their own albeit in a miniature replica.
29:51 If I were born in england as a englishmen I would have married you and in lived in the same cottage. You protray exactly my dream girl in childhood and the cottage with garden the world where I lived. Probably they were the effects of books I did read in childhood or maybe I was like that my mind.
Ah, a documentary so crusty and old-fashioned you can set your pocket watch to it. LOL. It can be annoying at the times, but it has its charms as well.
I have been gardening for 50+ years. I have watched the personality of those who garden both living now, and those passed on. I cannot escape the thought that the garden reveals the soul of the person within. A beautiful soul craves and creates beautiful surroundings, beautiful sights, beautiful sounds, beautiful fragrances. Thank you all for sharing with the world. Ralph in Ohio
