Anything that isn't the big swig lol. All of the others have their place and work with different playstyles. Flingza and Splat are probably what you're looking for when you ask for the best. Dynamo and Carbon are a little less consistent since they're stronger with bigger weaknesses to exploit. All of them their default/base loadout being the best as well.
Hey this was really good thanks for making it. U r good at describing things clearly and slowly. I feel like in a lot of Splatoon video guides the people making them talk WAY too fast haha
If you ask me stealth jump is for cowards and fools. If you can’t read when you’re supposed to jump in you’ve got some work to do. I suggest jumping when there’s three or more teammates alive. Also I fell like quick respawn doesn’t do anything if you always splat someone.
I .... did not realize Ballpoint can charge while shooting and can maintain the first or second mode.... That alone made this entire video worth it to me haha
I am a Nautilus player but i could just never get the hang of the ball point I just wished you could just click the r button to switch firing modes instead
2:32 this build isn't good, 2 subs of main saver and sub saver does barely anything. instead stack QR and swim speed will be the best at higher level play. 3:55 what is this low level gameplay? 6:32 bro push up, who would stay on the tower when the enemies are wiped and youre a tri? 7:12 dont trust him. dont aim high when fighting groups. it doesnt help you. it only lower your damages. 8:17 dont tell bro what the best sub in the game is. In conclusion: 1. bro sucks 2. bro is just S rank 3. bro missed the explosher
I can't believe that worked! Yeah. Art of War: Fight them where the aren't. After so many years it finally clicked. But that's not what it means. Really? Not even close. If you understood the reference, here's a cookie. 🍪
A quick update to the "love, food, and fun" section at 2:37. It DOES now matter. If the smiley face is green, you get a 1.05 multiplier on your energy gain. If it's yellow, it's neutral, but if it's red, it's cut in half!!!
this guide spreads a lot of misinformation honestly. as a roller, you are not supposed to flank. yes, you can flank, but ideally your job is to punish overextension using ninja squid. you don't take people by surprise in higher levels by going behind them, you take people by surprise by popping out of the ink and capitalizing on tiny mistakes in positioning. with other weapons, your job when you go on the flank is normally to take space and paint ground with other weapons such as tetras, wiper, etc. and roller can't paint the ground/ignore enemy ink well enough to do this. using your long-range flick to do poke damage is very situational, especially because you aren't really applying much damage and the time to kill is very slow. ideally you'll be spamming curlings, sometimes following them but not always, as they are very predictable. being under ledges is your friend. one thing that isn't mentioned is that aiming lower will increase your one shot kill distance with vertical flick. dynamo is not an anchor. it cannot paint well either with vertical flicks compared to other weapons, the ink droplets are very mediocre especially when compared to its ink in Splatoon 1 flingza's job is to paint a lot with vertical flicks, while using horizontal flicks similarly to splat rollers to punish bad positioning with ninja squid
Great video! Im not great at splatoon (or any shooters!) So ive been maining rollers because of my aim. Having a better idea of how to utilize my abilities is nice! I need to get better at using my shield ult, but in turf wars i struggle to know when and where to use it. Ive been superjumping to teammates near enemy territory to drop it down, does anyone know of thats about right or any good advice not covered in the video?
