It's not good to have your hair be wet while held up in a style. The reason is the hair is longer and fatter while wet. It will shrink as it dries and if it's held up in a style it can't shrink so the hair will actually start to break. After a while you can start to get more fly aways and things like that. I would recommend not using water and instead using some serum or hair spray after the style is complete for fly aways.
