Castagnet makes this guy look like the amateur that he will always be. Mud can't be saved with white paint. Alvaro is a master, but Z is a 'product designer' making every scene look the same. Sorry but I think many watercolorists today have a much better color handling ability than Zb.
Again this is 4 months ago that I wrote this comments . Again people apprentist , look !! He makes the connections between every layer horizontally ( and vertically) so subtil that you dont see it at the first sight but working this way he makes a masterpiece. Working with watercolors is knowing when you have to add the following strike when the previous strike is just dry enough to let the water make the connection between the two layers. Congratiolations Joseph I would like to meet you but I am 70 years old and travelling is a job. One day , watercolor paintings will be accept as valuable as oil paintings , only there is a emotional journey to be done for the critics and spectaters. For me it is the art form that is the most direct connected to Music art. I hope for you that in your lifetime you'll get the respect that you deserve
People complaining about usage of white paint have to understand there are a lot of opaque pigments in watercolors besides white ones. Cadmiums, Chromiums, Earths, some blues (i.e. Cerulean).
Three months later nobody comments anymore on this performance.. Perhaps people have more interest in Putin' s War than in human real performances. There are more idiots on this world than human beings. Luckily there are youngsters who are awaking. Everybody must realize that whitin 15 years Art will be the only handjob left !
It is truely a privilege to watch a great master at the peak of his craft. Joseph clearly demonstrates that great watercolour's are simply not all about transparency, but about manipulating the three major visual dynamics of the medium's potentials : " OPACITY - TRANSLUCENCY & TRANSPARENCY "
Every time I look this demo , It makes me crying of the beautiness that Joseph brings to us with his watercolor paintings. Using the fantastic charestiristics of the basic water at that way brings me down to earth. People don't realize , but for me this is at the leavel of Vincent. This is Art at the highest level !!
Joseph's work has had more influence on my thinking than any other painter of watercolour except that of JMW . TURNER ! I keep trying to help students of watercolour by saying that ' WATERCOLOUR IS NOT SIMPLY ABOUT TRANSPARENCY - BUT ABOUT TRANSLUCENCY AND OPACITY ! Make it your passion to understand and master the properties & physical dynamics that exist in watercolour and maybe then you will start treading the same ground of masters - " It is in your thinking that will make it so " 🙏
Hello, very nice experiment. I tried it but the battery only get very hot and also the wires but it is not moving. Knowing that i tried to flip the magnets or the battery directions but it is not moving, only producing heat. Would you help me knowing where is the problem? Thank you!
What a piece of shit Zbukvich painted, they all use gouache and have tricks when they work alone, what he painted doesn't look like anything, watercolor is the hardest thing to do in painting, it's a game of "cheating", deception for the eye, whoever masters it becomes a master , Zbukvich always does some shit from the picture when he works in public.
Joseph Zbukvic’s work is a big inspiration for me, the reason I started to paint. I’ve recently started a channel with watercolor demos & lessons. If you’re interested please check it out! 😊
