We love talking about what technology makes our lives better. So whether its a new Device, piece of Software, holiday, recipe or lifestyle change...we'll talk about it.
Yes dropshelf on the Microsoft Store does a similar job. I don’t think it has all of the features of this Mac software but does most of it. I personally haven’t used it myself so I’d be interested in how it goes. www.microsoft.com/en-au/p/dropshelf/9mzpc6p14l7n?rtc=1
you did me a good favor I was trying everything to delete Program Files folder that was created by Microsoft Store in another partition trayed everything couldn't delete it even AI didn't give me a solution but yours worked Thank You
Since I removed the game bar, small screens keep appearing where they say they can't open the app since there isn't that specific app on the PC. Obviously if you close it the game starts, but it's something I don't know. I like it, can it be removed?
Thx Bro it was annoying instantly recording and doing shit even turned off it took so much fps while playing no I got finally rid of I hate Microsoft for forcing their customers to use that shit even if u don’t need it
my issue is this: No audio bars are moving, The audio levels in the edit menu are flat, But the video still plays. Nothings muted, I'm on windows 11 using mp4 files.
I would love to, however I’d be more likely to promise that it will come back with future updates. Of course, if there’s a way to remove it again then I’ll do my best to communicate how to do that.
Still nothing.... I set the output in preferences, checked system output so it matches, I can see the waves in Edit tab but still nothing .... none of my prior proyects work either ... Im reinstalling Davinci now and if I cant solve it Im moving my project to Premiere ... so frustrating!! thank you for the tip anyways....
ok I feel like a real idiot... I went deep in the settings menu and forgot to check the VOLUME LEVEL in the FAIRLIGHT tab .... the volume slider was all the way down ddduuuhhhhhh!!!!! ..... the tiny tricky little volume slider is obve the timeline to the right..... Im going to go wash my face so maybe I can wake up.... (I spent maybe 3 hours trying to "fix" it ...) so embarrassing
Just bought a new dell laptop and this video was perfect but when I get to the search engine used in the address bar it won’t let me change it. Just gives me a red circle with a line through. Same when I try to add search engine. It’s literally forcing me to use this absolute garbage browser please help!

If you are on Windows 11 Home and Bing search results still appear after you turned it off in the settings try this: 1. Select Start, type regedit.exe and select the Registry Editor to launch it. Accept the UAC prompt that is displayed. 2. Navigate to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Search 3. Right-click on Search and select New > Dword (32-bit) Value. 4. Name the value BingSearchEnabled. 5. Double-click on the new Dword and set data to 0.
Yes I do. They are in an unfortunate position of trying to make Windows safe but also make money. If they allow Windows users that aren’t activated to be vulnerable then it’ll result in bad press. So you won’t get feature updates and all the nice changes, but security yes. Of course that’s my opinion so taking it as fact wouldn’t be wise 😊. Great question though, have a great day.
I don’t get how you knew to do this? How did you know what symbols and when to use spaces etc? How can i learn to do this? I guess it’s like anything e.g a car mechanic. You just study and learn along the way? I would like to know how to do this for other programs as well without having to look it up. So what is this process called and how do i learn it? Sorry for the long comment and i understand if you don’t want to answer or dont have time to answer… Now windows has it in a setting called “ system components” which it won’t let you delete 🤦♂️… anyways appreciate the tutorial this helped me get rid of it 👍👍👍
Hello, thanks for the great questions. I’ve been working with computers since I was 9 so you learn a thing or two. Once you learn things like programming or scripting you tend to look at things differently. Often you’ll find the windows gui only presents some things you can do, but command prompts and scripts expose a lot more things and offer you more power to do things. I would pick something like windows powershell or python to start and begin by figuring out something you wish to do, like automating something you do daily. Then through trial and error figure out how to write that script. Once you start doing this, it can become quite addictive and you’ll learn so much. As for system components I wouldn’t muck around too much there as it’s called system components for a reason. Deleting things there might kill windows for you. So stick with playing with things that don’t matter or use hyper v on windows and create a virtual machine where you can play and delete anything without affecting your main machine. Good luck, thanks for the great questions and have a fantastic day!
@@TLTechLife Hmm ok very interesting. Guess ill have to just play around with it and research… Sorry but i have one more question since it is now in system components do you think I should have not deleted it xbox game overlay? It has posed no problem other then i do get a pop up when i first start a game saying it can’t find the program to run and to download it. This doesn’t affect me as i just hit esc and thats the end of it. i did create a restore point maybe i should restore just in case it causes future issues?… Btw I appreciate you taking the time to answer
thank you for this video. i hate anything imposed or forced on us. i am someone who is slow in regard to tech. i have written out your comments, that is most of them. Will have to listen again @ a slower speed and then work on endeavor to remove BING.
