I found their convoluted backstories very confusing. The novelty of them being stranded in time kind of loses its novelty if they've already matured as characters while we weren't looking.
The High Evolutionary did inspire Mile Warren aka the Jackal from Spider-Man especially and didn’t realise that Apocalypse was responsible for Wolverine.
SANDMAN was the real problem here. Only issue is that two Goblins in one trilogy is a bit boring. I would have HAPPILY had Harry be an iteration as Sandman, Scorpion OR hydro man. Make it so that he tried to copy the goblin experiment but it went slightly wrong and he instead has different powers. I agree with saving venom till the 4th film. OR even show Brock transforming in the end.
@@theultimatememelord5494 well I'm not aware of me condensing a timeline anywhere else, but with the x-movies, I was tying plots from all the movies and shows together, making it necessary, in my mind, to shrink the amount of time these stories span.
I believe Maelor's arc will go to Jaehaera. She is not important to later story, since she dies childless at young age, I see no reason why she couldn't simply died earlier. Her marriage to Aegon III had some symbolic value, but she was only consort, not co-rule. If you remove this arc from picure, Aegon's arc will remain the same.
You mentioned Jacaerys and few moments later stated that he needs flaws to be more real... 🤦🏻♂️ They actually did this by making him elitist who looks down upon low-born. As you mentioned yourself - this is against book. He was not this person. He was unapologetic about his look and endorsed help from low born. It was Rhaenyra trait that she distrusted low-born and they literally flipped it into Jace making him who he wasn't. So you got exactly you wanted - Jace with flaws. (Never made it seems more like JAKE Velaryon, than Jacaerys Velaryon now, if you know what I mean.) They depicted him 'realistically', giving him flaws that basically destroyed his character from book to make Rhaenyra appear as 'good', and you are still not content 😂😂😂 If they gave Sara, at least they would be accurate. It would be 'canonical' flaw. What they did is demonizing male character and making Rhaenyra look better.
If George wanted Team Black to be more flawed than Greens he would write them such way. He didn't. He always intended for Team Black to be good guys. George is anti-war but not extremaly anti-war. He posted stuff how he would take out president of Russia if he had dragon. So he does support war in right case - such like war in self-defence of country, and like war that supports woman who was robbed of her crown because of her gender. Phnoebix Ashes did very good video on this called "Are the Greens and the Blacks equally bad?". Martin would wrote Greens are more complex and Black much worse if he wanted, he literally cretaed this world. And he still depicted Greens as villains.
The solution to Batgirl being a potential love interest for Batman is simple: Just have Batgirl be a girl, Batman be a man, she's way too young for him, so just have him be with OG Batwoman (the pre-52 version). That's what happened in the comics anyways... I feel like there is a lot that pre-52 Batwoman can do unlike her lesbian reboot who is just being the Miles Morales to Batman's Peter Parker.
Having finished the season, one can see 2024 values and reasonings creeping through whats meant to be a medieval fantasy show with dragons. And It does get jarring.
Also agree with Maelor, it was so easy to add him, he’s literally a kid/baby, I think it’s again the writers problem with team black bias, “we cannot make team black look bad so no more child killing”, they scaled down B&C too for that, now without Maelor a lot of Helena's, Aegon’s and Daeron's arcs, will be affected unfortunately “But it doesn’t matter cause it’s not our precious saint Daenerys I mean I mean Rhaenyra yeah”

EXACTLY, I love the idea of a whole episode in Winterfell with Jace, Cregan and potentially Sara, getting to know some graybeards, winter wolves, their friendship or something. Builds up Jace to make the Gullet more impactful, builds up Cregan for the future, and it’s a change of setting that keeps things moving like you pointed out. It also builds up how important that alliance will eventually become. And why they are so loyal. Cause throughout the season alliances are so easily made, it decreases the stakes, someone without reading the book doesn’t know how important the Starks are, or why should they care about alliances at all.
THANK YOU! As you said we signed up for a show about a CIVIL WAR. And we got people talking about how they dont a war for 8 episodes. I mean in GOT Robb Stark gathered his army as soon as they imprisoned Ned. He didnt talk for eight episodes about he wants to avoid a war
Season 2 can be summed up with the clown show that is Lohar, the annoying angry black man and way too much "diversity". I actually thought that I was watching Xena Warrior Princess or something during the Lohar scenes. Is HoD a cheap sitcom or a serious show? Daemon's storyline is just stupid too. The dreams and nonsense. Plus, the whole thing with him getting a vision and kneeling is just stupid because it doesn't make sense. Daemon wouldn't give two shits about something that may or may not happen 200 years later. He hardly even cares about things that are happening right now, even to his family members. Daemon is not the type of person to make sacrifices today for the chance at helping people hundreds of years in the future....and that's even if he can put 110% trust in the lame visions/dreams, which he cannot. For the most part nobody really gives a shit about what may or may not happen 200 years later. Nobody thinks that way. I hate when they do that in books. It's like a form of temporal narcissism to think that people from hundreds of years ago are going to make big sacrifices to help you solve your current crisis. The Sea Snake bastard is like a big bald crybaby and the other one looks like some rapper. So many annoying characters. So many dumb choices. It's like sending just one dragon to fight....knowing the other side has a larger dragon. Just send most of your dragons including the queen and hers. If they can somehow kill them all then her cause is lost anyway. Overkill is the only way to go.
I confess that as a young reader, I rejected "Titus Alone" and abandoned it after a few pages. The brilliant BBC series "Gormenghast" (which I strongly recommend) even stopped at the end of the second book. Now, as an older and more patient reader, I revisited the trilogy and finished "Titus Alone". Initially, it was a struggle, and I swallowed it like medicine. However, once I accepted it for what it was, I was delighted to discover its hidden gems. Mervyn Peake was truly ahead of his time. The floating glass orbs of surveillance are eerily reminiscent of today's drones. The hallucinatory sequences of the denizens of Under-River and Cheetah's party predate the drug culture that emerged in the '60s, after Peake's death. ----- Regarding Irma Prunesquallor, I understand your point but respectfully disagree. I believe her farcical moments add levity to the dark and somber castle. I can't imagine "Gormenghast" without her, Bellgrove, and the stark contrast with her brother, Dr. Prunesquallor, whom she helps frame. Thank you for posting this video, as I need to connect with others who have finished the trilogy.
So about that Deadpool 3 movie I was suggesting Madcap as he was the most personal threat to Wade as he did took over Bob’s body(Agent of Hydra) like Leatherkrang and that mutant from Total Recall
@@srstriker6420 I have not watched Deadpool 3, and I never will. I have already done a video with my thoughts on that, and I can't and won't go back in time to change my video.
