i have this and a gravity feed system attached to it. why wont the water flow properly? i have air bubbles all over in my tubing and i cant get them out.
I have worked with battery watering systems for 30 year and have not seen gravity feed in over 20 years. Depending on the brand of water system valve you should have water feed from some pressurized source such a city. The pressure is delivered to a garden hose and then through a regulator that provides the valves with a precise amount of both pressure & flow. Most city pressure is around 30 psi. Most water systems are low pressure and require 3-5 lbs pressure. You could buy some kid of portable tank that will allow you to quickly will and provide the necessary pressure and flow these systems require.
Not impressed with ours (similar system but not this specific to this one)! It flooded our battery cells! If you have one, be sure to verify that the battery is at the proper level after done.
if the battery is not fully charged and you add water and charge later that day the battery will flood. Most water systems come with an accessory blinky water light. Only check that light after full charge. If the light is green no watering required if it is red then you have the correct timing to water. Timing is everything
What a USELESS, WASTE OF TIME video! Should have kept the camera on the battery installation process. No one needs to see the pretty lady. We need to see every step of the installation of this ridiculously over-priced $130 system of plastic pieces. $130 for a small bunch of plastic pieces!
Hope they push the envelope further for better injectors, we changed our 700ish batteries over to this system. The valves have a tendency to get stuck in the flow open position and causing a cell to flow over with water.
where the gas come out when battery charging ? Through the watering tubing or the caps like usual ? Just need to know how battery need to be vented in close space.

That's an important safety tip: charge first, than water. When a battery discharges, the water level naturally goes down. If you fill a dead battery, the electrolyte may overflow. Can you give us an idea on the price of the system based on cell count?

This is the safest route to take if you aren't sure about the water quality in your area. If you would like us to test your water, we are happy to do that for you free of charge. Battery Watering Technologies. I'm located in South Carolina sc. We use lead acid batteries in solar bank's and in golf carts a lot in sc. I ended having to buy 12 sets of 3 fillers for a solar bank system and went with flowrite since they came up in Google search. Didn't find a url for this item. Reason I wanted this product was batteries already had your product pre installed from a seller. So you get it! Need it now go with first one that I can get the items I need first sorry! Maybe in future seemed like well made products we replaced sadly.

Water level drops as a battery discharges, than rises again during charge. If you water the batteries while discharged, they have a tenancy to overflow the next time it is charged. Hope this helps. I always use distilled water, so I like the fact that this system can use a low pressure gravity feed, where I can just siphon water into the fill valves.
