Audio Builders offers how-to-videos and in-depth explanations of audio production, audio engineering, and anything in audio that you want to build. We have a D.I.Y. approach and we understand that you do it yourself because you want it done right.
Audio Builders Workshop is a Workgroup of the Boston chapter of the Audio Engineering Society This contents is created by the students by Concord-Carlisle High School who offer it for free to all. Special thanks to Colonial Sound and Concord TV for their generous support of this content.
SO COOL! I WATCH THIS EVERYDAY WITH BREAKFAST; (((Frosted flakes with CHOCOLATE MILK IM WEIRD!!!! kinda fire tho ngl.... )))) yea good video... any more please?? PLEASE MORE VIDEOS NOWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
Here's the thing. I'm all for engineers because they are smart and kind. But when they make fun of audiophiles I just don't get it. I and many people like me can hear vivid differences of all kinds and they do matter.
It's not what you hear. It's WHY you hear. Your ears merely pick up the sound pressure. You brain tells you what it sounds like. See where I am going here? The animal brain is the most complex multitasking operating system known. Multiple other factors influence what things look, taste, smell, and sound like. Placebo effect.
Any component has an impact on music reproduction.............you're right , what's funny is that many so called "experts " or illuminated audiophiles like to ridicule facts outside of their beliefs and are thinking within the limits of their mental straight jackets of their so understood (perfect) science .You can not argue with those kind of people with such restricted mentality.....often they even have not experienced it themselves because measurements are king .
hi there, thanks for uploading the video. can you please tell me which headset i need for my performances. if you please get a look at my videos you will see my audiences, i mean the places where i perform singing and dacing michael jackson
So I’m a bit confused, can you test an Xlr cable to see if the line is any good without the speaker or a microphone using the voltage meter on top? Similar to the sound tools xlr sniffer?
The build looks beautiful, any thoughts on why some builds are done spacing out all the components versus this one ? Is there a noise difference? Very curious
Just a warning to anyone wanting to use this as a guitar pedal. It is not suitable. While it is definitely a working low pass filter it has an audio range similar to a passive low pass filter.
Cool story, Kevin is an alumnus from my high school. Now I’m our theater department’s sound engineer and also went through the Hanover with Nick! I came across this video looking for a way to rig this kind of mic wire and was pleasantly surprised to see a fellow GHS theatre kid. Hopefully lightning will strike twice and I can get A1 one day🤞. Great video, super informative.
John Mayall had a album called turning point, which was beautiful . However, Super Session was the true turning point. Anyway it was for me. Thanks for the memories.
Is vintagemicrophonepcbkit.com still in business? I emailed them about an order I want to place about a U47 kit/body/pcb and I never hear back from them..
hey thank you so much I am a up and coming sound engineer and location sound recording engineer I am so thank fun for this plz add me to your group you could find me on fb or ig
How I never get a mic with a 4um ribbon, would sound quite nasty. I prefer 1.8um minimum and sometimes spring for 1.2, maybe have one 1.1 in a refurbished Reslo.
