@@jimbeam8042 Hi Jim...thankyou The copyright free music I used is from my laptop movie app music selection. I use this sometimes when I process videos on my laptop. The music is called " Playful Blues " by Animotica
@@jimbeam8042 thanks Jim...Good to hear from you again. The music is called " Playful Blues " by Animotica. ( windows 10 movie app Animotica....laptop)
I lived in wellbank and worked near the museum. I had to collect money for the building society including Whitfield. At the time I was young and had no fear. I never at any point felt any trouble, despite the poor people.
yea ive been to Crail years ago, watched drifting, drag racing and stunts . i had a shot of a porshe about 12 year ago through a scottish motorsport track experience day. great fun but very expensive though
G'day mate, Mark has got me even more obsessed with electronics...And I'm slowly building up my workshop.. He's a great dude and very talented. Thanks for the tour of his work shop
@@swaitsysg4415 yea it was a good size event. I never knew just how big, until I went. It was my first time there. It's just a pity thd weather ruined it though. I hope to go next time. If you are there aswell, give me a shout !!👍👍
Hi there, have to say only just found your channel, have to admit that I've absolutely no interest of these electric monstrosities, i watched your video of the Van Hool McArdle A1 Ailsa..... mate that video is awesome......I grew up with those buses, ended up moving mid teens to the north east of England, became a bus driver at 22, I'm 60 now, but never ever got to drive the Ailsa, the look on your face says it all............Cheers Mate...Dave
There’s caves in the side of the hill to your left at about 11:47, it’s a bit of a climb but there very interesting. The coordinates are (56.866226, -3.160983)
Great selection of videos! We were on the gate so didn’t see the first set of pulls. Some effort to get the event set up in the time frame they did though. Plus, I think it’s a good feature you can watch from either side of the track, unlike when it was situated across from the Angus show.
@@HondaCBCL thankyou 👍👍😀. I really enjoyed the event...all that sheer power and grunt from these machines. Weather was great to. It made a great Saturday night for me. I look forward to more tractor pulling and I'll video it to.
@@chrisreynolds8054look forward to them! I only got about 11 mins worth of footage in total. The wife knows the dieselross lad…I’m biased but I think that’s the best looking tractor out the lot of them.
@@TaysideTrailblazer there are lots of theories online regarding bizzare things ,and like such to. It's all about which to believe!!??. One thing I know for certain, is that what I remember before, does not compare to what it's like nowadays.
Thanks for your video. As a matter of interest these speakers may be even older. I had a pair of the smaller two way speakers labelled Philips HI-FI international, like yours. I purchased them in 1968 in Germany whilst in the services. Philips were trying to get into the burgeoning hi-fi market at this time. Quite rare really. Good luck with them.
@@madrafboy aah thankyou very much,😀 I hope they work good after the repairs. Yea the model maybe older ,but my dad bought them brand new in 1974, as with the hifi amplifier and record player. The complete HIFI system cost him a fortune back them !!.
@@theadventuresofoldmort1746 aahh....I remember someone shouting something like that, very briefly, barley made what was said out . I couldn't really see you enough, to recognise you ,if I saw you again. You'll need to shout out again 🤣🤣. But thankyou all the same 👍👍😀
London Transport’s V3 only had two doors, not three. It had no centre door, just front and rear doors when new. The rear door was later panelled over. It had two stairs, which were retained when the rear door was removed. It finished its LT career at Potters Bar garage, along with Vs 1 and 2. It was rolled over and sold as scrap to Black Prince of Morley, near Leeds. They rebuilt it over several years and put it into service as they were replacing their largely Ailsa fleet by Scanias. When Black Prince closed, V3 was acquired by Roger Wright, the rear door restored and it painted back into LT red.
Did you know that you can go back in time on Google street view, when your on a street you click 'see more dates' and you can see every year they took photos, It goes back to about 2008 I think.
@@bluemeannie yea I knew about that function, but though when I saw 7 year ago, tge junction wasn't there. However I clearly remember it only a few weeks back
this is a ported box, the size of the box in corellation with the length and diameter of the tube amplifies a certain frequency . this allows for peak db and better sql of certain bass notes from the subwoofer. if this was a sealed box the bass response would have a flat response. the ported box can swell say 35 hz then rolls off after that . the reason for ported boxes is to allow more sql using less speakers. the box is slightly larger but you get some deeper notes before the roll off frequency is reached. this probbaly amplifies the 35 hz frequency for a deeper bass note that goes well with action scenes in most movies.
@@marksimpson1670 not anytime soon!!🤣. However I could do it on that bike with the very low first gear. Though I'd be quicker walking. I have cycled right to the top of Craigowl Hill with it ,without pushing it and sitting down to, because the first gear is so low ratio. I would have been quicker walking/ pushing it up 🤣...but I didn't, and I managed to get to the masts( lifting bike over style/ fence though)
It is basically a thick cardbord box with a toiletroll and a 12 € speaker and a few hobby wires :) Would be cool to add in a modern driver for 75 € and see what it can do.
A good video bud showing just how bad things actually got. If look through your video every flooded area has new builds near by, you hit the nail on the head when mentioned drainage and sewers that just can't cope is the problem.... can't have sewers built for 200 houses and stick up another 200. Like you i have lived in Dundee all my life and okay Drumgieth Flooded but around once every decade or so, think if had heavy snow in the hills and thawed too quickly that was the reason why Drumgieth flooded. opposite side of the road where St Saviors is never flooded when the school was there. The houses at Claverhouse i saw on the news and was shocked, there is actually two ponds at the Trottick ponds but one isn't always there unsure why for years at a time can lie empty, there is a sluice gate towards the Kirkton end of the pond, this may have been the cause for the second pond filling and possibly what flooded everyone's homes. In my own opinion someone at Dundee Council needs to stand up and say they are the cause by allowing too many new builds that clearly drainage will run in to the dighty. Invergowrie is another area i do not recall flooding but feel this down to the new builds at Liff, the Invergowrie Burn runs right by where they are doing work right now and work looks to be right on it's banks.
After my hike on the Rob Roy Way I stayed a few days in Pitlochry and also had a nice day hike to Killiecrankie and to Ben Vrackie. Such a lovley place. Thank you for sharing.
