@@speakingtruth9924 it was synthetic, Janet collection! I crocheted them to my braids and really loved it. It did tangle some but the pack was only $5. Maintained it with water and conditioner mostly, every now and then maybe a little gel or foam to define the curls more. The gel actually helps from tangling!

Rocking this style for about 4 weeks now. The technique is flawless. Took me 3 days but get soooooooo many compliments. I see some similar looks but no one else's Ive seen even professionally done looks as good. Going to try the boho locs next!
