Hey thank you for this! I have 06 250cr with gnarly/powercore 2 and vforce reeds. It runs great and doesnt bog down at all BUT i have stock jetting on. Whats your opinion what way should i go with jets or just leave them? IT runs great no problems on/off/on throtling picks up great etc. Maybe little detonations on low rpm (needle jet Area) on Deacleration. Add. Detonation is only way i can deacribe it with my Limited english haha 🤣 like like punch before it should bang. Doesnt do it on every roation just like 1-2 times before Idle.
Is it normal to have a tiny whole in the bottom of the crankcase for oil/blowby to purposely leak out? My crankcase has a tiny whole where just a small bit of oil drips out when the bike is running more or less. I just bought this bike, and like yours mine has been somewhat neglected/abused, but physically and cosmetically not nearly as bad as your bike was. A project bike it will be lol. Ty
Our place is just North of Tomahawk. I'm about to ride it on my new to me 300 xcw. Had to throw my old boots in the trash. It was hard. I guess it's time to get a new pair. I do like the new knee pad shin guards i have. Looking forward to riding! Not looking forward to breaking in new boots but gota do it!
I just bought the S&B pumper. Game changer for us. I have been scared to get it wet; glad to hear that it is safe to get wet. Hope you are still getting good performance after a few years now.
Great I already bought it. My hands severely painfully fall asleep. And was praying this will help. Thanks for the heads up! Great vid and info!! Hopefully it needs to go through a little break in period!! 😢
I hope you don’t take this as an insult, but man with my eyes closed, you sound exactly like Dana white. I want this size box for the front of my xt1000r outlander. Cheers dude.
Fasst Flex Bars might be a better option, they come in many different bends/sweep and also have different durometer. I used them on a buzzy thumper, quite effective but didn’t totally eliminate vibration. Fasst also do good Bar end dampeners if you want to spend less
I know I’m late but I just stumbled upon your video and I can definitely use a set up like that for 2023 maverick x3. Are you still able to get a discounted price on that setup?
Nice bike! I’ve got the opportunity to buy a 2022 300rX for a killer price but I’m not a motorcrosser. I’m researching on whether it would be worth it make some suspension changes, power valve changes/ adjustments, 18” rear wheel, etc. can a 300 RX be made into single track, trail bike? I’m not really a racer just an enthusiast. Thanks
Hey, my name is Darcy I bought one just like you did and I couldn’t figure out what that plate was in that silver piece you take that black piece of steel the three holes in it and you put it on the inside of the box and if you look at the bottom of your box, there is two little holes where they want you to drill through you take that silver piece that strange silver hooky piece and you pointed front towards the front and you screw it in and you get a hole there on your rig that when you set the box down, you push it forward and it hooks into that one hole then you pushed the front box down and you latch the two left and right corners it’s a crappy system, but it does work
Still work like the first day I got it. I do use it on hot days when I want the windshield off. True is I only got the car out once in the last year and thinking about selling it.
I know this is a couple years old but what model X3 are you running and what year? The reason I ask it there is a big difference in horsepower stock depending on what you have which a tune would make a huge difference. For example all 2017 model were 154 HP. 2018 base model was 120 and the turbo R was 172. Newer ones like the 2021, The base X3 DS Turbo puts out a respectable 120 hp, and the DS Turbo R ups that to 172 hp. The X3 X DS Turbo RR has a bigger turbo and beefier pistons and puts out 195 hp. I have a 2018 XDS turbo R that stock puts out 172hp. I changed the pressure on my waste gate to 8 instread of 6 and it now runs right at 16 psi of boost VS 14. Based on everything I've read that should be around 192-195HP. it is a beast and will smoke the 32" SuperATV Warrior tires I'm running like crazy... So much fun.👍 Awesome video by the way.
With the tune in my turbo R giving it more fuel with the tune and maxing out the injectors, I am set at 18 pounds of boost at around 205. To go anymore than that the cost to horsepower difference is just ridiculous and that 205 pounds it’s all I need and all anybody should need.
I have an 02 CR250R. Just rebuilt the top end and the motor hesitates at about 3/4 throttle and doesn’t want to climb… not a crisp clean acceleration all through the rpm band. Bottom end power is great. Could it be due to me putting the power valve back together incorrectly when I rebuilt it?
You might be running out of fuel on the top end try putting a bigger main jet in the carburetor. But no, if you put the power valves together wrong, it should still run pretty well.
@@sxsmarine4075 thanks, I’ll give that a shot. It ran great on the old top end. As a test I dropped the needle clip two positions; shouldn’t that add a little more fuel? But it seems even worse now…
