Baseline Driver Training is developed, based on our founder Tommy Schröter experiences and theories from the last 15 years as a driving coach and mental trainer, where he have coached over 1000 drivers. The most well-known drivers he have worked intensively with include AMG F1 Junior driver Frederik Vesti and the double WEC World Champion Nicki Thiim.
Baseline Driver Training is a training tool where racing and sim drivers practice their: - Pedal inputs. - Visual attention - Focused attention - Eye-to-foot coordination - Visual reaction time - Muscle memory - Fine motorskills - Mental Capacity
Import your own data!
Using the data import function, you can now import your own real life brake zones from your own car on any track from which you have data. Pick your best braking zones from a race weekend or test day and start practicing them in Baseline.
We are on a mission to change the way, racing drivers practice!
racing is a bit## u learn a track nail it and get faster. then u hit that plateau and get all the information to get faster and then try to aply it.. but most of the time u just get slower and Make mistakes u never made befor.. then it clicks and u get that 1 to 2 seconds faster then befor. but its a emotional rolercoster
@SnerASDF Totally feel you on this! Racing really is an emotional rollercoaster, especially when you hit that plateau. It can be so frustrating when you're trying to apply everything you've learned, only to end up making mistakes you didn’t before. But when it finally clicks, that 1 or 2-second improvement makes all the struggles worth it! It's all part of the process, and those ups and downs are what make the breakthroughs feel even better.
@PauloRondynele Glad you enjoyed it! I really appreciate the support. Thanks for the encouragement, and I hope the channel keeps growing just like you said! Stay tuned for more content!
Would u ever put steering input graph along with this current training so we can practice not just pedals input but also steering inputs like how to correctlyt steer into corners? Sorry im new to sim racing and i like ur training tool and I just thought how steering input can be trained in the same way whether done separately or together with pedals input with force feedback of course.
Thank you for your questions. We will also add steering input later, though I cannot say when that will happen. I hope you will be able to use our pedal input training, so you can learn the correct techniques faster.
Thank you, Kasper, and with your skills in a simulator, I look forward to seeing when you master the new techniques, where your eyes and brain will play a bigger role.
Tommy, nice video however I see so many mistakes which have to do with actual driving. I know you are a former professional racing driver - but today's sim e-sport racers can spot what is missing. - Do not use entire road - The lines are wrong - Learn to turn with the pedals more Nice video - no criticism here - just saying what I see (15+ yrs sim e-sports racer here)
Thank you for your great feedback. I'm not a Simracer, that's no secret. But what I want to convey in the videos is how to become a better driver, especially by using your pedals correctly. This is where our software, Baseline Driver Training, can be a great help for both sim and race drivers.
Thank you for your question, we use data from the drivers. Then it's their braking and throttle graphs we visualize. In this video, I show how I use visualization in my training. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DImfi7FEUEc.html
Good video and good information..... but, please adjust the sound of the music to not be so much louder than the dialogue {or get rid of the music altogether}. I kept having to adjust the volume so much it ruined the whole thing for me.
Hope you can setup some sound dampening in your room, so I can hopefully make it to the end of your upcoming videos. Sounds interesting 🏎️😁 (but this is hurting my ears)
Hey Tommy, you drive really well. Maybe you could explain how you enter a corner because i think the way you do it is sooo much advanced. You induce oversteer when you wnter a Corner and that is a very important thing many beginners can't understand. For you as a very experienced driver it is natural but for many beginner i believe it is not. I wish you all the best. Greetings from Dortmund. Keep it up man!
