Hard to describe it but it’s just my basic grip for if I was to grab a mouse , back of my palm is on the mouse and I’m gripping it pretty high up , before I didn’t have any contact w my palm and I held it from the back. I have way more control now and feel fluid lol
@Rhyshino yeah when I switched to 1-2-2 it was super uncomfortable and difficult to get used to. But even if you have to play less for a little bit, if you just get on each day and play only using 1-2-2, you'll get used to it pretty quick. The improvement in dexterity and finger usage is amazing. Definitely worth it. If you are switching, another thing to think about is whether or not you keep your pinky extended. If you play 1-3-1 you most likely have it extended now, and there definitely is merit to having it extended in 1-2-2(you feel incredibly locked in and connected to your mouse), but if you can be patient and gain the control to actual bend your pinky and grip the side of the mouse with your fingertips/pads, it's definitely worth it if you're looking to optimize your aiming ability. Then again it's really all preference. 😂 but I'd without a doubt say 1-2-2 is much more controlled.
lol such a specific sens , for some reason my brain only likes to go like .20 .25 .15. I’ve never tried a random number between. That’s cool though , whatever works for you
Awesome video! what are your thoughts on 1 3 1 and 1 2 2 grip, do you have a preference and why? I so lost on what to choose, i like movement but the grip just feels like you get less articulation.
1-2-2 finger tip , I’ve also been messing around with claw grip. Best advice I could give you is what’s most comfortable is what grip you should use, and then practice and focusing on what areas you lack in is most important(:
Arm wrist hybrid , personally I think it’s good to involve your arm wrist and fingers into your aim to fully unlock your potential. I play 1600 dpi .9 sensitivity and 1.0 scope sens right now (:
ty for the video, im just trying to get more assurance that its worth the wait/preorder. i just preordered a wooting 60he+ gotta wait till may. but im hoping this will improve some of the movement tech i have, i know the mechanics etc but my superglides are very inconsistent at times. i did use a cfg on steam for superglides but that was it and i never really abused it in battles other than on pathfinder from fat grappes. I can say tho granted i did use to use only a superglide config as my keyboard isnt the best but with some moving keys around a diff way it kind of works i can hit it but its such a short milisecond delay that my keyboard cant do all the time for the input, even tho it is a gaming keyboard. but im excited just a bummer i gotta wait till may. lurching is kind of slow with my keypad too. need to get me a new mouse soon but thats in the list for sometime soon, already got that eyed out next month. I will be coming back for this video to mess with the settings similar to yours. Also question, do you have to close out the game after each adjustment on the website app?
For one don’t use cfg’s that ruins the fun of improving and being a good player. In regard to super gliding, what keyboard you use doesn’t really matter , you can get the timing down and be consistent with any keyboard if you just practice. The wooting having “rapid fire” as a setting will improve your lurch speed and how your air strafes look because you can get more key inputs in a shorter period of time. There are several keyboards out now with similar softwares like wooting but the wooting it still a very good pick. All settings save when you click save in the wootility app No restart needed. @@7mmii i have a really cheap hyperx keyboard, this will be a huge upgrade. im a pretty mechanically gifted player and decided to use the cfg before it was banned, like a month or so? but i didnt do superglides back and forth like some would abuse it. Since replying ive still been practicing with this keyboard for prep. I am excited for lurching and the other cool things it can do. Ty for the info on the keyboard and advice too. I just got into plat mainly solo and its been a bitch. Ive run into so many people teaming in ranked or straight up cheating(mainly walls or no recoil) but no insane speed hack cheater etc. Ill check back in on this thread when i receive my new keyboard! in the mean time ill still be practicing for the 3 legends i main
