Thank you for your kind comment. The meal in the Aventura was one of the nicest we had. Also we didn’t do it this trip but the food in the Endless Summer Resort - Surf Side was also amazing. They seem to do a really good job in the food courts in the Universal hotels from what we have experienced.
I love your Welsh accent, it’s so melodic. As a Scottish person, I can agree, your Scottish accent might need a bit of work 😂. To be fair though, I don’t think I’d be any good at a Welsh one. It was great to see Universal in this vlog, as our kids get older we are enjoying Universal more and more. We fly out 4 weeks today so excitement levels are rising, and your vlogs are definitely helping. Kieran’s 8.73/10 for Moe’s made me laugh, that’s the kind of thing our son would come out with.

@@ears2u969 Oh my goodness no, not offended in the slightest, I thought it was funny really funny 😊. We’re doing a similar trip, although we are starting at Disney and then moving on to Universal. We got some great news last week, our daughter is now coming with us, she started a new job recently and didn’t think she would get time off, she’s managed to get leave so will join us for 10 days. Our son and I are relieved as we were going to have to toss a coin to see who would accompany my husband to HHN, we’re both too scared! Thankfully, our daughter has saved the day, phew 😥 they have been before and really enjoyed it. I hope you have a great holiday when it comes.
I need to thank you again for posting, I’m really enjoying your trip. I’m glad Kieran enjoyed Inside out 2, I love a cinema trip when in the US. I’ve been humming a wee tune all week and I couldn’t work out what it was until I watched this week’s vlog, it’s your intro, it’s so catchy 😊. I love Kieran’s dedication to retail therapy, I’m with him on that, you can’t beat a wee Disney purchase or two 🛍️

The poutine and the brioche ice cream thing, that I have no idea how to spell, both looked delicious and have gone straight on to my ‘must try’ snack list for our next trip. This looked like a very hot but fun day in Epcot. The Beach Club is fab and it’s such a great location, I hope you really enjoyed your stay 😊
Thank you for your kind comment. The Beach Club is in a really good location. Walking distance to Epcot, right next to The Skyliner & all of those resorts. I would definitely recommend staying there. There are so many snacks to choose from, but they are a couple of our favourites.👍 Really looking forward to peanut butter and jelly chicken wings from food & wine as well. Yum yum yum!
I personally cannot be doing washing whilst on holiday. We also never have the time as we only go every five years or so and have so much to squeeze in we don't have much down time. 13 days until our next trip, just 10 nights and I cannot wait! Watching vlogs to get me even more excited haha.

Magic Kingdom day looks good. I’m looking forward to seeing if Kieran gets his Inside Out shirt in time for seeing it at the cinema, he had me laughing at his little Mickey impression when you were in the shop. What’s Josh like, not realising he had gone out in his PJs, he must have been in a rush 😂. Wow, you own DVC at the Grand Floridian, that is so cool. Tiana’s looks like it’ll be so good, how did you find trying to get Virtual Queues? We’ve never had to try and get one before so any tips you have would be really appreciated, thanks 😊 I hope your knee is much better, you were such a trooper putting in the steps in the parks when you were injured. Thank you again for taking the time to create the vlogs, they are getting us so excited for our trip.
With the virtual queues, you have 2 opportunities per day. You will need to set an alarm for 6.55am so that you can try dead on 7.00am & just keep refreshing it. If you don’t succeed at 7.00am, then you can try again at 1.00pm. You will have to be in the park to get it at 1.00pm. I hope this helps. We actually bought points for the Grand Floridian in 2014 by accident. We didn’t really know how it all worked back then. We were staying in The Old Key West at the time. We paid cash after saving hard to get there. When we were there we got talking to a family who had DVC points and they showed us their 1 bedroom apartment. It was huge. So we thought we would look into it ourselves. At that time Disney were selling points for the Grand Floridian. So we went along to an appointment to see an open house and impulsively bought the points. After learning more about how DVC works, a couple of years later we enquired about changing our deeds to the AKL (our favourite hotel) because you can book your own hotel 11 months in advance but you have to wait until 7 months in advance for all of the other hotels. (Quite often there is no availability which is annoying and you have to put in a wish list.) We were talked out of it because The Grand Floridian is really sort after & a good investment. If we ever buy more points we will try & get them for the AKL. I will say though it is 1 of our best purchases & we are really glad we bought them. During COVID when we couldn’t travel we rented our points out & had money back as well.

I had a wee laugh when it became apparent that dad hadn’t got the memo about Woody’s Round Up BBQ, Andy would have spotted him straight away, you had his back though 👍 How fab that your son is over in Disney working, I keep trying to convince our 2 that they should do this but I’m having no joy sadly, they don’t think they could cope with the heat.
@@0208DD Thank you for the kind comment. When I’m editing the vlogs some things really make me laugh. Matthew moving when we were supposed to be still was one of them. Also when Joshua wore his pyjama top to Magic Kingdom was another. Joshua is back home now. He loved every second of it. He was really sad when he had to leave. It was very hot out there, but he got climatized to the heat.
I’ve been looking for vlogs to watch as we have a trip coming up and I am so glad I came across your channel. I love all your top tips and hints. Your excitement is infectious. We stayed at Old Key West on a previous trip, it’s such a lovely, laid back resort and the rooms are massive. We also love a split stay, we try to stay in 2 or three different resorts each trip. We’re hoping to try them all eventually, although it might take a while to save up to stay at the Grand Floridian! I’m also a packing cube convert, colour coded for each family member. I was skeptical at first but they are genius, we would never travel without them now. I love the fact that when you arrive you can just unzip them, pop them in the drawers and you’re unpacking is done. We especially like to stay in different hotels because it keeps the whole holiday exciting not knowing what the rooms are going to be like and because pool hopping has been stopped since COVID. Our DVC points have made it possible for us to do this. There are not many Disney hotels that we have not stayed in now. For our upcoming trip we are staying off-sight so it is also good to compare & see which is better. I hope you have a wonderful time on holiday.
Thanks, there is a lot work happening in Disneyland Paris now and we will probably go back next year now and there is the new Marvel Campus which is exclusive to Paris so far. U need to check it out.

We watch a couple the 2 new one and well done to Josh, I hope he is leaving his dreams and not missing you. I was very disappointed that ur best bit at the airport was meeting us (maybe that the worst bit lol) We started a vlog too and we went to Disneyland Paris Twice this year. This is the first vlog of yours that I have watched and it was really good! You are mega organised, and some good tips there too. I haven’t tried Key West yet but it looks very chilled out and relaxing. I loved how Kieron was all about the food and I love your Welsh accent. I’m excited to watch the rest of this series. (Also I converted to packing cubes a year ago and they are indeed life changing)!
I know, when I watched it back I wish we had sat outside instead. I did try to reduce the background noise on my editing software but it didn’t work very well. I hope it wasn’t too much of a nuisance.

@MrsAcko14 yes thank you Josh is enjoying Uni, he is actually going to be working as a photo pass photographer in WDW this summer on the cultural exchange programme, so we are going around the same time so that we can see him when he is not working. We are going in June for 2 weeks. Then we are planning on going back for a week towards the end of October hopefully with Josh & Kieran for all of the Halloween fun, particularly in HHN Universal. We are DVC members & have AP, so are lucky to be able to go frequently. So yes if we are there at the same time please come over & say hi.
