With ArDrive, ar.io, ArNS and more, Permanent Data Solutions (PDS) continues to develop solutions for retail users and enterprises using the decentralized permanent data storage network, Arweave.
I remember debating with my IT manager back in the late 90's about open source. Specifically Linux. He felt it was a threat to use in business settings cause anyone can code in a back door. I explained that with a strong community, that's unlikely. OpSource and Linux is now standard on most enterprises everywhere. Cool video.
Thanks for the analysis! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Arweave is designed to provide permanent storage, and the 200-year minimum is based on conservative economic models for maintaining data storage. As technology advances and storage costs decrease, the amount of time data remains available could extend far beyond those initial 200 years. The incentive structure of the network, including storage endowment and the ever-decreasing cost of hard drive space, supports this longevity.
I was directed to Twitter by Lark Davis and there I saw: get a wallet, arconnectio. is that the same thing as what you have here? And also does Lark get an affiliate bonus if I sign up via Twitter? Thanks, Philip.
Hello and great video, but want to be it's for my situation: I'm considering moving metaverse assets from Dropbox to Arw. Are the instructions in this video necessary for that? Thx
All sources of media should use the permaweb. In doing so there will be better reporting. Reporters will know what they've written is there forever and can't be modified.
Hey there! ArDrive uploads direct to network (with AR) or through the Turbo bundler (with credits) which is not related to that. Thank you for checking out our video!
Is there a guide for connecting manifest to the ARNS domain? I've gotten as far as setting up a domain name but I can't find anything to walk through connecting the two?
Mark, thank you for your awesome question. You would like the ArNS domain to the manifest itself. Here is some documentation that might be helpful, and please join our Discord if it's confusing at all. Can't wait to see what you're building! ar.io/docs/guides/arns/managing.html#overview
❤❤❤ This is possibly the most mind-blowing technology i've seen crafted using crypto tech so far in my life. This is a revolution in tech advancements in the field of decentralised permanent storage.
When I`m observing number of nodes I have a strange feeling that it will be hard to achieve... 50 nodes online for such a blockchain... what do You think about it ?
This is a great question! While that number doesn't accurately represent the network's storage or backup capacity, you can read more info here: arwiki.wiki/#/en/arweave-mining
Brother, how far are we from having a real usable product? By that, I mean an easy search button, search in text, division in categories by the app, filters, etc. Another thing that I miss is the ability to capture web pages, an option possible in an AR Chrome plugin. Your fan
Well, y'all, Cletus done got himself in a digital pickle, wrangled by that darn malware. Poor fella's phone's wilder than a bull in a china shop! 🤠💥 Meanwhile, Velma's sittin' pretty with arDrive, her files safe as a bank vault on Sunday. Makes ya ponder - in this here digital rodeo, you gonna be a Cletus or a Velma? 🤔🌵 #RideSafeWithArDrive
