Gotcha, also curious did you have to switch your iridium to stereo, or does it do that automatically because you placed stereo pedals after it? Thanks🙌

Thanks for recording this! Did you ever get any latency problems? Especially with using phones streaming over wifi? I have a 2020 MacBook Pro, with OBS, capturing 4 sources; - Audio - interface (IRig Pro Duo) connected to my guitar - Audio - MacBook Audio - Video - MacBook Camera - Video - MacBook Screen capture (to capture Yousician) The MacBook goes slow, and when I play the video back it's unwatchable due to unbearably terrible latency. Im pretty confused, surely a 2020 MacBook Pro should be able to handle those 4 inputs? I have tried; - increasing the frame rate from 30 to 50fps - changing from .mkv to .mp4 - changing recording quality Anybody had the same and found a fix?
Can't say I ever really had any latency issues. I don't use a mac for what its worth and I have a dedicated external audio card (Focusrite 2i2 and my HX Stomp). All the audio processing is done by one of those two devices. OBS records my screen, so no need for a secondary app to do that... Sorry, Macs are weird so I can't really comment on your issue
Very good review. I just put it on my wish list. Seems to have good sound quality from what i can tell from your video. 2 yrs since you posted the video, do you still use it?
it reduces the "secondary trim" on the iridium, it essentially lowers the strength of the output signal. This way it doesn't clip the pedals after it (reverb and delay).
IMHO reverb, as in the effect itself is not as important when using a real amp, but when playing direct and through headphones there is no "space" to the sound at all because it's not in a room. With an amp you get natural room reverb, and when recording, often times engineers try to capture a little bit of that natural room reverb.
I know what you mean, when you cram so much into one pedal it's usually a compromise though! I still prefer this tremolo over say, a boss trem, but I use like 2/11 effects.
It seems to sound better as a clean utility effect as part of a synth pedal board (sounds great going into a Pladask or Microcosm pedal) as it's quite digital sounding rather than having much analog dirt, my primary gripe is it's not stereo, so has to live early on in the chain, the secondary functions help with more options. It's super cheap (& ugly). I would recommend drilling down to get a more subtle sound, where personally I think it offers more value.
what speaker system are you listening to this on? and what is demo being recorded by? I own this pedal and can honestly say it's pretty incredible for the price range.
This review helped me a lot! Can you notice any volume drop when the effects is turned on? I'm having a hard time finding mod pedals that don't lower your volume

Yep, that is the stop sign we are writing about. He almost came to a stop though, and I bet the only reason he did not was that he got distracted/annoyed by the beeping motorcyclist?.
I wasn't over taking him, did you not hear me let off the throttle before he swerved? I was slowing down to approach the stop sign in my lane position, and as I did that he randomly swerved out.
Sure, but here is what I don't understand; you say you had no intention in overtaking/passing him before or at the stop sign, so why does it matter that he swerved out into the lane?
