If you allow tenants to make the place their own in ways that won’t cause damage here far more likely to treat your investment like a home & take care of it. You want tenants who do this because it means they’re more likely to stay & be consistent revenue for you.
I’m going through this nightmare right now. The kitchen. Switched out for peel and stick tile. And I’ve just had to redo it for the fourth time. Frustrated.
Imagine being proud of kicking renters out for actually providing protection of the furniture, walls and tiles... 😅😂 What a weird way to publicly announce how stupid you are!
I’ve also heard you can purchase a poly wall, and tak that on the textured wall before applying the paper if you want a smoother look. I’ve had luck with peel-n-stick wallpaper and even used it to line drawers 😊🙌🏼
That seems like a loooot of waste that is going to the trash. I am sorry if this comment ofends you, and I understand how it feels to live in a place that doesnt feel like home. I just think that there should be more sostenible ways to do it.
Hope these people don't come giving environment lectures, cause it would be very antogonizing with this waste. I meen you do you but be aware this is wasteful unless you keep it for like 10 years or somenthing
Would've loved this as a little girl! I remember going to an observatory when I was little, and there was a woman handing out booklets to girls and talking about space(travel). I thought it was so cool and was extremely interested. My mom however pulled me away angrily and scoffed at the woman for "putting such ideas in my head". You have no idea how much it makes me smile to see this!
he does not. i don't think a landlord has time to comment something like that. probably a nobody that was mad, commenting that to make themself feel better. the usual.
My landlord has left loose and missing floorboards; mold all through the laundry, bathroom and part of the kitchen; burst pipes; windows that don't open properly; the works... the homeowning class are swine
When i was lookinh for a place i found a great place but ceiling pain had come.loose from one spot and some cabinet doors had color come off in time. Asked if i can fix the ceiling and paint the doors and the owner said no. Like how is a person supposed to feel like its home when they are not even allowed to have it in a nice condition?!
My old landlord was very generous and nice, encouraging us to personalise our spaces but also telling us that we do have to take care of damages and changes made to the room. When I moved out he helped me with renting a carpet cleaner and negotite with the movers since I was getting ripped off. I atill stay in regular contact with him. It's nice.
