Awesome. I thought I was the only one 😂 If anyone is wondering how to do this, You need to run 2 power sources to the halos. One dedicated that will keep them running (your choice). Then another hot line from the interior lignts. But with this line, you NEED to use a diode (a one way connection) so you dont back feed into your interior lights and they are running all the time because of your other hot line if that makes sense. Im not sure if this is how he did it, but my headlights were after marlet on my e46 so my halos needed to be wired in manually. So it was a lot easier to start from scratch, but the same principle can be applied to factory halos.
Hey just a one question. I also want to do this. But I have given power to the angel lights from the parking lights. If we gonna give a another power line from the interior lights isn't it gonna be a trouble?
I don't know how familiar you are with electronics but here goes: 1) get 2 diodes and connect the cathode ends together and from the cathode end connect it to the positive end of your angel eyes. 2) connect the power line from the footwell light to anode end of one diode and ignition power to the anode end of the second diode. ( The purpose of the diode is to prevent power back flow.
