Hi~ I have a deep passion for model cars since i was a little kid, always collecting cars and play with them since young. Now customizing and building model cars is my hobby. If you like model cars, this is the right place for you and we have the same interest! Please support my channel if you like it so that i can grow and have the motivation to build and post more videos~ Thanks for your time and enjoy!
Damn you!!! As if I needed another thing eating up my time. Guess I'm into diecast model car renovations now🤷♂️ Thanks a lot for making it look irresistibly interesting and fun... hope you sleep well at night knowing I'm up late painting model cars!🤬 (and seriously enjoying it😉)
Hi, your work is so pleasing to the eyes. I bought the Tamiya toys because I saw your video, but after putting the stock parts together, it doesn’t look like your finished work especially the bumper, did you use some other parts that doesn’t come with the box? Also, the silver paint just look gorgeous, any chance you can share what paint you used? Please keep those videos coming, just watching the videos makes me feel good❤
Hi there, very nice video, it is very illustrative. I am a beginner in scale modeling and I have a question. I masked my model with two types of masking tapes: regular and making for curves. After painting the window trims, the marks of the masking tape were marked all over my paint job. Do you know why it happened..? I have to say that the model were clear coated and polished before I masked it for painting window trims. Thanks for your help.
Absolutely stunning work on the R32 GT-R! The attention to detail and craftsmanship is evident in every aspect of the build. It's inspiring to see such dedication and skill in automotive artistry. Hats off to the team @JHHobby for this masterpiece! 👏🚗💨
Video is great, my only objection is that white plastic, with white primer followed by white paint is well, bad way to show the difference between stages. Other than that its cool.
Great video, if you were painting the car black, would you use Finishing Surfacer 1500 Black, or would you still use clear surfaces 1000? My model is a two tone, black on top silver on bottom, it’s the revell 83 olds/hurst and i want the paint to be crisp. any suggestions. thanks.
I just watched several videos from other Model Builders. Whilst most of them appear to copy your style, they just don't give me the same chilled feeling that I get watching yours. I had to come back and watch this video again to get my fix. Definitely the #1 Model Builder and best video style on You Tube and IG. Thanks again.👌👌🙂🙂
to add on to what he said, I don't think beginners have to start with Tamiya, in fact I might advise against it. Tamiya has more parts count than AMT or Revell models, so those are a bit simpler and have less moving parts (some models are more detailed than others, though, but reviews of car models aren't really common so it's hard to tell how different models are even in their own brand). Also, I highly recommend investing in airbrush. Yes, it is more expensive now, but you will have more control of the color and spraying width and quality when you paint your models. some of the models out there like THE SNAP KIT line from Aoshima are pre-painted, but some still use glue and stickers, so that could be a good entry for those who don't want to paint yet. You can find car models anywhere, they are available at Hobby Lobby, (sometimes) Michael's, HobbyTown, and DrugMart (I live in Northeast Ohio so you may not have some of those stores in your area, but it will surprise you where you can find car models, also check some larger antique stores because a lot of the antique vendors may sell older car models, especially Corvette's and some rarer GT/LE MANS model cars.) The first car you buy will likely turn out badly, so I would advise getting a cheap or basic car model so that you don't feel bad for ruining your favorite car or a nice quality kit. My first model car was terrible. I have a ton in my backlog and haven't finished any of them, so get in the habit of working on them a little bit each day, whether its just sanding or painting, keep in the habit of working on your model so you don't get caught up in the rat race of life and give yourself time to enjoy hobby, but don't let it overtake your life. Car modelling has been difficult for me because I'm used to Gundam snap-fit models, so getting used to paint and glue is stressful, but it may be easier for you if you go straight from not building models at all to building cars and having to learn how to paint and glue. You don't have to be color accurate to model, and feel free to experiment with colors of the interior, wheels, brake calipers, etc. Strive to make a good model but don't let a failure destroy you, hold your head high and don't forget to enjoy building! You can spend as much or as little as you want building cars, and don't feel bad for enjoying a particular kind of model car, there are also model motorcycles, farm equipment, trucks, and race cars, plus there are ships and planes too, so you are gaining skills you can take to other hobbies like Space Battleship or Gundam if you are interested in anime.
One thing I always hated about body kits is when they don't blend well with body lines or look like pieces glued on. I like when everything is cohesive. That had nothing to do with your video just had an opinion. You did a fantastic job. Love it
Curious to know, the design of that kit looks like it drives the HP shaft. Can you confirm if the LP shaft can rotate separately? Or does the motor drive them both in sync?
