I can ask you a quick question with the bracket that you have on this one that's black with a motor that's like a 25 that is an L2 can I ask about how much you weigh because I was told that I weigh 210 200. They say with a motor of 2.5 with my weight it would pretty much sync the fact wanted to know your opinion on that because I didn't want to go L4 is much heavier and much bigger I get your opinion on what you think on this
Hi can I ask you a quick question I was told by a few people that if I put a motor like you did on the back of your L2 that my weight would be an issue I weigh about 210 but I'm usually about 200 can I ask you about how much you weigh and if you think that would really be an issue they're saying to go to an L4 but I think the L4 I would rather have it smaller and be able to get to tighter spots any help you could give would be grateful due to you've been fishing on this a long time With the same kind of motor I'd like to put on it that's the 2.5 I think it is
Hey Jacob some of us don't have boats or SUP. Can you show us how to navigate walking the Marsh showing us where to step and not to step if we want to do it on foot.
Great video man! Those L2's seem perfect for fly fishing, such a solid platform. I really like that 360 cam for that too. I think you being mic'd up would be great for your filming applications, let me know if you want any info on what I use personally. Take care man keep it up!
Dude, I had a Lowe 1448 Jon w a 40hp yam 2-stroke. Decked bow and stern, poling platform, more. One of the best creek fishing boats I've ever had. Poles like a dream with one hand. Had it all around the harbor and creeks in Charleston. Hard to kill a Jon boat. Great for dropping anchors or cast nets, etc. Even had a duck hunting blind for it. Gigged out of it, fly fish in the grass, spin fish anywhere, shrimping, oystering, and more.
I wished I knew of this 4 yrs ago. I would’ve never purchased 2 of these BOTE. Everything you mentioned is what we experienced and now it’s just sitting on a trailer in my carport. Put too much money into it and now to spend more on getting it repaired 😢 Thanks for your awesome review 🤙🏽
I had the rover for a year before I sold it and lost a ton of money. I have experienced every single complaint this man has spoken of. Wet ride, heavy, extremeely fragile. I hit a small dock in reverse and I have a dollar sized crack on th hull that flaked off. Had to use a fiber glass fix. If it were made of HDPE maybe this boat would be better, lighter, cheaper.
I realize this is an older video and hopefully you still keep up with the comments, but I'm interested in how you built the poling platform. Or, if you didn't build it yourself, where did you buy it? Thanks!
Dang, was just in Charleston. Wish I would have found this before we went on vacation. Just picked up a L4 two weeks ago for bass fishing here in Arizona.
Folly is great but the washout from 13-16th is NOT A GOOD PLACE TO LEARN. You will be surfing with proficient riders while trying to navigate a new sport. Try any other place on folly. IOP and surrounding islands have less crowded breaks to learn without getting overtaken on peaks.
