He knows my name, he sees everything I go through, he sees how deep a mess I'm in , and listens to my prayers, my cries when no one is there, and he finds a way to keep me sane each time.
1 John 1:9 (NIV) - “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” - Many people find themselves shameful, unworthy, and too evil whenever they commit a sin. They assume that God will never be able to forgive them because of the weight of their sin, which, sometimes, they do repeatedly. But what we must know is that, God’s forgiveness does not depend on how big our sin is. No matter what we’ve done or how rebellious we’ve been, God offers to forgive us, for only one reason: HE LOVES US. God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son. Jesus came to show the real proof of God's love for people in this world. Jesus came to take away our sins. Jesus came to make our forgiveness possible. But, forgiveness from God only takes place when we come to humble ourselves before Him. Some people are unwilling to admit their faults, worried by the thought of being judged by the people. But in the eyes of God, we have nothing to fear. Despite knowing our transgressions, He would never judge us because He knows who we truly are. As a matter of fact, He promises the opposite of judgment: FORGIVENESS & CLEANSING. The Bible says that if we confess our sins, if we acknowledge that we did something wrong and we need correction from God, He is faithful and will forgive our sins, no matter how heavy, no matter how bad. However, confession is not simply acknowledging our sins. It is not admitting one’s fault without changing. Change is necessary. The purpose of confession is a changed heart, and a person who receives forgiveness from God should strive to change. Always remember: no matter who we are or what we have done, God offers us forgiveness in Christ - freely and fully. 🤍🙏🏻🙌🏻👆🏻
