Yes, phone calls on wired and wireless CarPlay are not so good. Audio via Mic is not good and not clear. Not sure if it’s because of the factory mic that I connected to or just from the Hu itself. I am thinking of deleting the factory mic and use the one that came with the HU later.
@@PTranProductions mine is stuck at the flywheel. Does that make a difference? Like it doesn’t come down. I crank it but it won’t start. But it stays stuck up there
Does the engine turn at all? If your start turns, the engine won’t and the starter stuck up to the flywheel, there’s a good chance that the starter gear is damaged on the inside.

Excellent informative and educational video, thanks so much for doing this tutorial! I was wondering if the coil pack should be changed at the same time with the spark plugs while the wiper tube is already removed? The front spark plugs and coil packs are very easy to swap out. Also, is there a deference in quality, performance and reliability on other brand spark plugs, coil packs? I also thought about doing a light engine rinse and wash to remove most of the loose dirt to minimize any debris entering the spark plug holes doing the process. Any thoughts or comments on this?
If there’s nothing wrong with the coil packs, no need to replace. Unless you want to spend money. And if you do, replace with OEM coil packs. Reliable and peace of mind. It’s your choice and your reference. OEM spark plugs and coils would be my choice. Engine wash would be necessary. There’s not much dirt or that debris that would fall into the engine to cause catastrophic failure. Again, it’s your choice and your reference. I didn’t do on mine.
I think you can also correct this by turning the filter right side up and using the air purge button in conjuction with a shut off valve located down stream of the filters. Purge with the valve closed and deadhead the pump to force the air out of the filter.
Thanks for your suggestions! On the last use, I got the filter canisters back upright and used the air purge button to release air at start up. It did help to reduce air bubbles. Having a shut-off valve after the filters and keeping it closed at start up sounds like a good idea. I may try that on the next run.
Never thought of using salt to estimate the pond size. I estimated mine at 2500 gallons by geometry when I built it. Then I add 11 tons of stone. My guess now is a little less than 2000 gallons. Next time I do a deep clean (drain), I was thing about getting an end of hose water meter.
Hahaha! Yes, my estimate was based on geometry too and it was way off compared to chemistry method. Filling up the pond with a water meter is the best most accurate way of getting true volume but it requires to start filling the pond from empty.
I'm using a QuickJack from Costco. This MaxJax will be my next step, when the QuickJack stop working. One suggestion bro. Can we route the hydraulic lines off the floor? I would be out of your way, avoiding tripping and crushing the hydraulic lines. My two cents By the way, where are you located? I'm from Brampton, ON.
Yes, Hydraulic lines can be routed permanently off the floor as your choice. I have been thinking about doing that, not because of tripping or running over it but it’s kinda pain in the *** to connect and disconnect the lines every time I need to use it. I am in K-W area.
@@allbrant Go to Factory Setting (Pass code: 126 (on mine unit) ->’other’ then check to make sure your‘Steering wheel keys assign’ setting = “SWC Key”. If not change it by tapping on the arrow down to select ‘SWC Key’. I hope that helps. That’s what I have on mine and all the steering wheel buttons work.
No modifications were needed. Out the old headers and in with the new one. It was an Easy swap. Just OEM gaskets were needed as the gaskets came with them were not the same as OEM.
It's good to know the plugs last that long. I've been dreading changing the ones in my 2009 and it's at 130k miles. It's running great so I'll put it off for a while longer. Hopefully I can do it with the intake in place.
Nice job. When I did my water falls, I wore disposable gloves, and sprinkled pea gravel and sand on the foam while it was still wet. Really camouflaged the foam. I also poke at the foam to deflate it as needed.
@@PTranProductions Drain and pressure wash. I would guess the pond stays nice and clean for 12 months. by month 18, the stones are getting cruddy, My Pressure washer did last year, so I'm behind on getting it done.
One thing that might help is putting the pump AFTER the filters and use a high pressure but low flow rate pump. But idk why bubbles would matter as long as you're not oxygenating the wine.
No I didn’t not soak the media. Initial overflow issue that I encountered was due to the air pocket the pipes between barrels. It has been all working well for over 3 years now.
@jaybird4095 Yes, you’re right. It was water. After couple of dry days and I went down to tuck the liner back in place with some big rocks, it’s all good now.
Hello ! My girlfriend owns one of this! the thing is that it works perfectly, but you have to press it for it to works, if you stop holding it with storng, it turns off. Do you know what could it be?
Possibly dirty or damaged contact switch. You can open it up and inspect the contact switch and the play mechanism. If there’s no sign of damage then use electronic cleaner spray and clean the contact switch.
First of all, thanks for this. You saved me time and money. Secondly, dont try this unless you are pretty seasoned mechanic. You need to be in pretty good shape to pull this off. There isnt much room to get leverage on the ratchet. I didnt help things waiting til 260k to replace the plugs. They were almost seized. Neeeded to be worked back and forth carefully. Not something you want to do on the back 3 plugs.. but again, thanks sir. Id buy you a beer if I could.
So I got everything done today to the point of reassembling the housing with the new bearing. I spun it by hand and it sounds like this ru-vid.comNkWunFj6JJY I am thinking this is not how it should sound. It sounds a bit like the whine from before. The other smaller bearing spins smoothly with no noise with the old bearing removed and before I reassembled with the new bearing.

@@LetsDIYIt Nice! The noise that you heard while spinning by hand with the new bearing installed could be just from the effect of that electromagnetic coupler.
