The heart rate monitor on mine seems pretty accurate but I also wear it the proper way, putting the censor on the palm side of the wrist. Most people I see review it will put it on the back side of the wrist, where you dont check for pulse too
Im getting my Vital Hero tomorrow, but i think its ironic that the bracelet started with Pulsemon and ended with Pulsemon. im glad the app is still working on my phone, simply that from what i can see, it guts all online content, and simply just acts as a storage for digimon, using your phone as the storage medium. still. i got the vital hero as a motivator for working out, and as a V-Pet that i usually wont forget to take with me (God knows how many digimon have died in my 20th anniversary V-Pet from me forgetting them at home when i go out)
Question is the vital brace v ghost game the best edition now since arena app will be closed down soon it’s pointless getting the be because me and my wife will be using vs dim after closure and he doesn’t have that function or is that fixed now? 😅
Liberator comic is really good...sucks vital braclet is done but the new digivice looks pretty sick..me and my son are going through a digi phase this last year woth collecting the cards amd consuming any content we can(past series,2020 dub,the new movies,and comics like dreamers last year and liberator now) wish we had tons more content but I'll take what we can get it def seems alot better than when I was a kid and liked digimon
@@WAFFLEBOIVRtheeggboi They did an end of service on september 30th of this year. all Online capability has been gutted but the rest of the app works fine. you can still store digimon and do adventures, you simply cant online battle and you cant transfer account data or recover accounts anylonger.

Especially if youre not feeling it, its alsways best to comsume stuff you're loving and it's not fun to force it. Especially with how gross and demanding the RU-vid everything can be. I feel you man. But tbf, You said you havent consumed much digimon content lately, And thats dishonest. Because there has barely been ANY. atleast if you arent a TCG fan. So even if you wanted to, There is not really any content to consume. Toei and Bandai have sadly not been able to revive the anime. And ghost game is in my book one of the worst failures digimon has made so far. While the concept sounds cool and did work for a few episodes. It quickly became super repetitive and barely had a plot. Hopefully the next game or a future anime can give us all the help we need to love digimon agian. Farewell dan, May your Digidestiny begin anew someday.

Seeing a lot of similar sentiment towards Digimon recently, what with the granular updates on future games, projects, etc. We are feeling this also. Personally, I’m glad that you’ve decided to keep your channel up and are open to the possibility of more videos in the future, if/when things pick back up. Take it easy in the meantime man, GGs! 👍
Hey Dan, I'm sad to hear your Digimon box openings will be going away, they're my favourite on RU-vid and I always looked forward to them with each new release. I've watched most of them probably several times over. That said if you're not feeling it I understand and there's no point in forcing yourself to continue if your heart's not in it. It's a hobby like you say and if it's not giving enjoyment it's probably better to set it aside. Thank you for making this channel and giving us many hours of great content, it's been a pleasure exploring the offerings of Digimon with you.

True you gotta be motivated. Something to look forward to. The franchise and developers could've done better with the games and improve upon them. They should have attempted to top the Pokemon franchise in games. However the Digimon card game is still going strong which is good. To boost sales in the west, the anime english dub is their only hope.
They were never going to top Pokemon in games as far as sales go. I mean, when even the buggiest of Pokemon games will still do gang busters there's only so much one can do. Granted, "Digimon games" cover more ground than what would be considered "Pokemon games". There's no real pokemon equivalent to Survive or Next Order. That being said, localization aside, I think the recent games are done pretty well, but I do wish they did update people on the new Story game. I can take an occasional anime announcement, Ghost Game aside there really hasn't been any times were a new anime came out right after the other.
Can't say I blame you for the loss of interest in Digimon. It truthfully feels like we're stuck in a never ending, constant and continuous losing battle with Bandai to get them to give a shit about this franchise. No news on anime, no news on new games, radio silence on bringing more stuff to the west. It's exhausting. I wish you luck on whatever you decide to do next.
Hi dude! First off, thanks for the awesome shout-out! Really appreciate it. On the topic of Digimon, I can understand why people are not really connecting with Digimon as much nowadays. Imo, the franchise has slowed down a lot compared to when the VB launched. Games getting massive delays, the anime ending etc. It needs a revival. I picked up that resi board game a while back not got to play it yet though. Definitely gonna check out ur other channel to get ur thoughts on it!
Very much so, it's a huge shame how Bandai are fumbling it. They just don't want to make Digimon successful it feels like. Will see you on the other channel!

I think its only natural, with how bandai has been managing the brand its no wonder why ppl who got back into Digimon during covid (like myself and many others) are now seeing the drought of merch/media and loosing interest. I still love digimon, and it has a special place in my heart. But for know, think taking a break and seeing where the franchise goes is the best thing we can do. Loved your content, its was nice having a very close community of creators who I could watch and interact during the golden days of the VB and Virtual pets. Wishing the best of luck with life and I'll definitely will be checking out your other channel!
Completely understand my dude! I did the same thing and jumped on this train during the pandemic. But Digimon burnout is real! Take a break away from it and maybe some time in the future you’ll come back to it. Either way, your work has been appreciated and your videos have been solid!
What happens if the phone hosting the app dies? I'm guessing you lose your data, since there's no way to backup and transfer the data to a new phone atm? Also would you even be able to download a working copy of the app after the end of September and start from scratch?
Damn i was legitimately trying to find the right vital bracelet for me, is there a "best" option? I just got into Digimon and want a buddy that doesnt scream at me like my tamagotchi (plus I'm bored of my digimon X)
I really wanted to buy one of these, this is a bummer. Wonder if this will at least make them cheaper to buy. Do you think they’re worth running without the app?
There is an app on the Apple and Google app stores that teaches you the mechanics of the game, but not one that lets you build decks and collect cards sadly.
No, it means (at least from my understanding) that only online functions will cease, for example "Arena Mode" will be disabled. All data you have (ex: digimon) will be kept on your device with that last update. You can still send characters back and forth.
I would recommend downloading the app now and getting it set up for the final update to ensure you can use it once the support period ends. I am expecting basic stuff like moving Digimon back and forth and the Codex will continue to work after the final update, but I will make a video going over it all once it has happened.
The Lab wasn't but the Arena has been is the PT store from day 1, and updates always came at the correct dates. Maybe it wasn't in all EU countries thou.
@@DanYourResidentDigimonFan yes I haven't bought one yet because in my country there is no official sale which made it difficult for me and kept me watching videos instead all the time :(. In my country, that app was not available already however I was okay using it without the app but now seeing even the app that wasn't available for me getting down made me hesitate. now that bandai basically abandoned the vb I want to see people find a way to mod the vb/vital hero, one of the things I wanted to se with vb and be mods was digimon de-evolution and warp evolution kinda like the digimon neo and the digivice toys
Where did you get the playmat from? Official Digimon Playmats are so hard to come by without preordering from Bandai and this is the one I always wanted the most 😭
We don’t have Premium Bandai in the UK, so a lot of the stuff ends up with resellers and game stores who get it from their suppliers. I bought mine from a website called The Card Vault!
Hope you got good stuff I'm so not even back into this tcg cause I had to sell my good collection like year so ago for 130$ was homeless so tryin to rebuild my collection would be seemingly impossible
