that's a sick group you were able to put together. great edit too. graduated from HS in '89 and these guys were my idols. i bunch of us from NJ lived on outer limits many spring weekends. went to mount hood in july by myself at 18 to a freestyle ski camp and was fortunate to hang with a bunch of these guys plus jan bucher. nelson gave me one of his club-A sweaters.....ha. best of times.
Haha yes. What I did: added the alient ant farm sound track. Mixed the sound level to adjust for the effect of upstairs vs downstairs. Re-edited the video to increase duration.
I went down Gandy Dancer just last week, but I did not look like this! Mary Jane has this ranked as a blue-black. At the end of the ski year, I did not see any particularly easy way down. Moguls like you see here from side to side. It is not a steep run, nor are the moguls huge. For the accomplished, it must be kind of a fun run.
He is One of the most gracious Professional athletes you will ever be fortunate to meet, plus he is an incredible bump skier, unbelievable power and precision
After Johnny Mosley Dinner roll...bump skiing became bland and boring, perfect bumps spaced evenly apart from preformed concrete. These are real bumps and real bump skiers. Fabled runs like Rolex at Steamboat or Gunbarrel in Heavenly..
Short skis too. Screws up the backside. Also, over-aggressive grooming from the resorts. You can't get consistent bumps if they keep grooming because they froze over or it's a holiday weekend and they need to keep the trail count up. so they groom instead of waiting for snow or warm weather, and we start all over again. It's getting frustrating out there, too much grooming. Almost like a redux of the late 90s.
