When Republicans win back the Senate and Congress, the first thing to get rid of is tracy stone manning, an acknowledged eco terrorist who leads the Nation's land management, which means no more paper or paper products...
I was excited to learn of this new office and glad to watch this video. Gosh, nice photo of Atlanta's guru of urban growing, Mr. Bobby Wilson. I'm very disappointed that you did not have him present early on in this forum. It's really important for USDA NRCS to understand the importance to have a balance of racial and gender representation. Please address this, we are counting on you for a better relationship between USDA and black urban growers.
Is this by any chance the former Irvil K Pease, English teacher at Waynflete School in Maine in the late 60s and early 70s? There are many former adoring students of hers who would love to know!
Yes, it is! I just met Irvil today (I am helping her out with some things) and she mentioned her former last name was Pease. I will mention you to her!
@@jaynep13 Dear Jaynep, I am so pleased to know this! Thank you for responding! Please pass this on to her. Dear Irvil (Mrs. Pease), Last weekend, several of your former students (Gail Chapman, Roger Woodman, Susie Bliss, and I, Carol Richardson), gathered at our 50th Waynflete reunion. We all spoke of you and what an impact you made on our lives as readers, writers, thinkers. We remarked on the amazing (for then, especially) range of books you had us read-Woman Warrior, Cripple Mah and the New Order, To the Lighthouse, Things Fall Apart-I wish I still had the full list. I also remember learning Ancient History with you in 8th grade. You failed us all on our first papers, telling us we had no idea how to write, and then you taught us to be writers. Not just TO write but to BE writers. Teachers so seldom know what happens to their students or the longterm impact they have. I just wanted you to know what I huge impact you had in your short time with us. Fondly, Carol (Richardson Rodgers) (crodgers@albany.edu)
Thank you Ms. Debbie Hughes for your comment! I am part of Jim Wells and Duval Counties in South Texas....I may not have the academic credentials, however I still consider myself young :) and full of energy to leave this earth more taken care of for my children and my children's children. Thank you to all involved in these efforts!! Appreciate you!!
Brilliant work. I’m doing my part over here on our eight acres. Excited to burn the weeds down this fall. And I’m making biochar in a parabola in the dirt. Chickens are enjoying it in accompaniment to their feed and forage. Thanks so much.
