Sam Raimi is the wrong guy. DS2 was ok but not great and he was why. His style of horror is too camp and so it lacks the drama to make anyone care. We need to be emotionally invested in these stories or they just become meh. I’ve seen 9 of his films and while they all manage to be mildly entertaining, none are great and lack of investment is why. Compare that to the Russo’s (who aren’t perfect) but you can see why their movies do better. If Marvel/Disney want to get back to the kind of successes they had before they need a better class of directors/writers who can make us care deeply for the quandaries these characters face.
Clea was Dormammu's daughter in the comics. Not sure there would be much point to bringing her in at this point, if that wasn't going to be the case here. How the Dormammu from the first movie could have a kid is, of course, open to question, but hey, Ego was a planet played by Kurt Russell in Guardians 2. Dormammu could have a humanoid avatar as well. I liked Multiverse of Madness, but I'll need to know more before I decide if I'm going to this one. They really should give us some version of Eternity. And resolve the hanging plot thread with Mordo.
@@Jherick5954 She was originally his daughter, I can't remember how they played around with her origins later on. That being said, the early Strange comics are by far the best.
@lalaboi5526 Gorr the non god Butcher, with a nose for some reason. Honestly tho, had the movie over all been good I don't think everyone would have been AS pissed about it being a lame attempt at Gorr
This was actually 616 marvel. Daken went after castle as part of the dark reign event/storyline, the one where Norman Osborne is in charge of national security and his very own "avengers" team and ends up going against Asgard (which was floating over US soil at the time)
I never knew bout this story, seems very interesting, since Punisher is 1 of my favorite Marvel vigilantes,& alot of my friends as well, havent read any comic book many yrs now, need 2 catch up
I’ll rather this or a iron man suit instead a plain human in a rubber bat suit with no powers fighting gods and dodging omega beams when super man and the flash can’t this makes way more sense and he needs a new reckon ASAP
