RIP Tina Turner, thank you for the encouragement and chanting with me at our Buddhist meetings back in NYC. I had just started my practice when I met her and Buster Williams and others. This performance adds to the golden memories.
Donovan, I'm just seeing this clip and I'm so proud of you. You have no idea how much you encouraged me to never give up on my dreams. Something we learn in Buddhism which I'm sure you know or learned about when you went backstage with Tina and perhaps saw her altar. I chant too and again, you encourage me through this joyful experience. Thank you so much!

Awesome video bud, great dancing and timing. I seen Ike and Tina live in Edmonton in the 70s , got invitation that was thrown out to crowd to a party with them at the Chateua Lacombe hotel. Was an incredible show and she graciously touched me on the shoulder as she briefly walked through the party. What a fantastic memory.

In everyone’s lifetime there’s only a handful of true icons alive at the same time we are. She was one of them for me. I saw this show in Tampa and it was so magical. It felt like time passed at quadruple speed.
