One of my favorite things about how Shizuka talks is how she assembles her speech from what her book makes available. For instance in this episode, you hear her TTS finishing the word "babanuki" a beat after the other girls, because nobody played the game in her books. She had to use "baba" and "nuki" separately, so there's a short pause. Or even more often, she'll switch from first person to third person in-between sentences, like when she's talking about comparing herself to the other two girls and goes from "I am" to "Her figure resembled that of a child" as she switches between quoting a character's speech and quoting narration.
So simple, cozy and cute series! No drama at all, but worth rewatching many times surely. Thanks for reaction! I like your tastes for romcoms, so gladly subscribed to your channel, and waiting new reactions :) Wish you more likes and subscribers!
I believe there will be a season 3 somewhere along the line, Duke of Death and his Maid had a 3rd season that covered all the way to the ending of the story and now Kimi ni Todoke is airing it's 3rd season currently after a long wait, I highly recommend both series btw, so yeah.
I just started watching your reaction videos to BukuYaba but noticed that you've probably haven't watched the OVA that was released before season 2 which I'm sure you're also gonna love, so I highly recommend it.
Just found your reaction videos to BokuYaba, glad I did, What you said, "who likes normal, right?" has opened my eyes in more ways than one. Love your work, I most certainly have enjoyed it in this episode.
Actual russian here.First of all thanks for the reaction, second of all:i want to point out one moment that may be confusing. The phrase “It’s only good when they are blood related” doesn’t mean that suo loves i***st,it was translated incorrectly. From both russian and English subtitles,i assume that the original phrase was something like “The whole point is that they are blood related”.English translation incorrectly thought she means the whole genre, wich lead to the misconception that she loves such things, while she actually meant this exact manga that she is reading,as an answer to Masachika’s “They are probably step siblings or something”.
Maybe going off topic in this episode, and I know I sound like a broken record but God I love Akane’s new look, so Beautiful!!! 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 I’m also glad we got to see a bit of Minami in this episode, love her as well. 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
everyone wanted a kiss, but knowing both of their personality the Hug was the right call, they both want to take everything slow and sweet and not force a kiss.
The end song is a cover of “Omoide ga Ippai” by Tanimoto Kenichiro, a J-Pop song with a theme of girl reaching womanhood (like a wedding song). You should listen to the original version as his voice is clear and pleasing. This is not to be confused with a song by the same name sung by Cocco, which was an anime end song for Ranma 1/2. That song is great too though. ^_^
All the Endings are covers for others songs at least 3 of them are from animes. And i notice that the lyrics of the songs, are related to what happened on the episodes. This episode ending seems to be from a very old anime and the lyrics are somehow related to this episode where we saw Alya fall in love with Kuze. Here are the lyrics ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bOXCdkvXLHg.html
Remember last episode, Yuki was talking about how Kuze is an expert negotiator. You get a glimpse of it during Alya's flashback this episode. One of his super pros for them wanting him in the student council. I love finding out how he was allowed to call her by her nickname. Also Misha is adorable. Such a good older sister giving Alya some leeway to go after Kuze. And testing him in Russian lol.
Ah the flashback of the moment when something in Alya started going Doki Doki, & we get to see older Sister, Masha, oh there’s more to her than you think. *SPOILER* Yes, Masha is the childhood friend, I know I was shocked as well.
Yuki is great. There are 2 shows with 2 great little sisters this season with Yuki and Kaju. I love that when they spotted Alya tailing them, Yuki changed her hairstyle up to not look like she was just hanging out with her brother lol. Also apparently in the source material, Alya's "revealing" outfit was a LOT more spicy than what was shown here in the anime, because this didn't look that bad at all. I love that the Pres calls Alya "little Kujou" lol since her sister is also in the student council. He seems like a good guy. This is probably my 2nd fav romcom this season. Behind Makeine.
And oh yes, each episode has a different ending… they are covers of J-Pop and anime songs. There is an after credits scene after the end song in episode 4, so be sure not to miss it. ^_^
I don’t think Alya has guessed that Masachika and Yuki are siblings. Alya is so cute, she’s a big tsundere, but the dere part is so intense for her, haha. I can’t believe you welcome a love triangle… I hate those because of the strife and pain, lol.
And now I’m hungry for some Really Spicy Ramen!!! 🍜 🍜🍜🍜🍜🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Poor Alya, she couldn’t handle the Heat, and Yuki, Oh My God!!! She is such a Tease, and I Love it!!!
