TARGET AUDIENCE : 14-25 Young Muslim Man, he grew up without Deen in his life because he had fallen to Shaytaan's whisperings and he is trying to get on his Deen but he keeps messing up and he feels horrible about it, he needs that outside help, motivation and direction to guide him to the straight path. He understands the sweetness of salah and islam and he is scrolling around on RU-vid or he searches up self improvement related things and he finds these videos to guide him to Islam AND help him grow and become a strong, rightous, successful man in both the Deen and the Dunya.

Assalam Alaykoum akhi, May Allah bless you for your advices. I'm a bit lost to find the correct way to learn the quran. Am I obliged to learn all the tajweed rules first ? Or should I learn them continually by learning new verses ? And I really want to understand the quran, is it okay to first learn the verses without understanding them ? Because it might be easier to forget them or making mistakes because I don't understand their meaning. I have a mushaf like yours : it has tajweed rules in color, and the full translation on the right side. I thank you in advance for your advices.
Tajweed is the proper method to read and prounounce the words and letters in the quran , learn tajweed rules first through learning from your mistakes and apply your knowledge within your memorization
Assalamu alaykum akhi, I just wanted to say that you should not do the hard pronunciation like in 1:38 because Tajweed-wise it is not correct. If you pronounce it like that it is necessary to pluck your lips or push your lips out sometimes and that is only to be done when pronouncing و and dammah. And in no other case. May Allah reward you for your efforts.

Be careful in what you use in thumbnail. That clapping scene had so many ladies without hijab. You will surely earn bad deeds for every male even having the slightest glance of them. May Allah increase you in knowledge.
Barakhallahu fiik. Strong advice is learn tajweed also. I Suggest getting a teacher who can help you differentiate heavy and light letters, i.e Istialaa. Us bengalis/Pakistanis/Indians havent been taught this growing up. May Allah make us the people of the ahul kitaab, and make us a guardian of this complete and error-free book.
As a Pakistani I can 100% relate. My Old quran teacher would literally fall asleep during our classes on skype lmao. May allah increase our knowledge of the Al-Quran and strengthen the remembrance of the ummah.
be careful brothers and sisters of reciting too melodiously because we don’t want to end up singing the quran authubillah. i’ve seen brothers and sisters become obsessed with the qari culture and become too melodious when they recite
100%, thats why i advise to double check the tajweed and to not completely focus on copying the reciter itself. This can cause mistakes because of their style of recitation. In some cases these Qari's even end up reciting different letters and words!
Melody isn’t bad if it is in the confines of tajweed, I’d say dossary has his moments where the tajweed my be stretched, but most of the time he is within it.
barakallah feek akhi for the advice but i would recommend the brothers to listen to people like hussary and mishary because their recitations are precise and you can really understand every words and letter they are pronouncing
Completely agree . I advise double checking prounouncing tajweed and letters with other reciters. Do not memorize the Quran for the intention of the "tiktok qari culture" (I''ll admit, i do enjoy imitating reciters though.) Use the methods i've provided to recognize the combination of letters and words so eventually you can identify purely through seeing a word. (*Bonus Tip: STOP LISTENING TO MUSIC , ONLY LISTEN TO THE QURAN. MUSIC ONLY STOPS THE QURAN FROM BEING TO ENTER YOUR HEART.)
