Was just thinking of adding this acoustic / electric bass to my collection.... but now, after hearing it... It sounds "weak" in the bass department.... shallow, no serious bass "thump". I have two (2) Ukelele bass guitar that have 10 times the bass "thump" than this one..... will have to keep looking.
It’s a beautiful attractive guitar, but if you are an advanced player, this is a toy and it never stays in tune! It has also phase issues which can be a huge problem recording. I’ve tried 3 guitars bought from different companies same issue in all of them, on top of all that the action of the strings is off the charts… I am sorry Luna Guitars but you guys should sell this guitar for $699.00 it’s not worth it.
I would like to know why I cannot find this ukulele anywhere in Canada??? I've been looking for it for months and have emailed Luna Guitars many times and they have never replied!!! Would like very much to receive an answer from somebody! Thank you!
your mic placement is not good. There is no low end on the guitar.. you should have it one foot from the hole... this sounds like crap. When I tried it a guitar center the sound was nowhere near what this sounds like.
This is a _true_ bass ukulele, whereas most models that are marketed as bass ukuleles would properly be called contrabasses. "Bass" and "contrabass" are relative terms.
I’m thinking of getting the a style or f style mandolin. They look great and sound good from what I’ve heard, also the banjo is pretty slick, Im ready to give it a try. Can’t beat the price . Thanks for info , subscribed.😊
I just started to learn the guitar about a month ago and I decided it would be a good time to try to learn a bunch of instruments at the same time. I really love Mexican music and corridos tumbados so I picked up a bajoloche (4 string acoustic bass) and felt like I was able to play along with some of the simple bass lines right away and it actually sounded right. Then I got a cheap ukelele and have been playing that allot, I feel like it really helped teach me basic strumming patterns as well as the ability to change chords while strumming. Then I go back to my 6 (or 12) string guitars and they seem like I have more of the hang of everything from the time I’ve put in on the other instruments. I just ordered a banjolele and I think it will be allot of fun to play and hopefully I can use it and learn some more finger picking techniques with it.
So I've had mine for 5 years now, thing sounds still like I just bought it that day, and that's how it should be thank you Luna for creating this mahogany wood 12 sting
I went to guitar center to check out a Taylor before I buying it but didnt' love the sound so started playing with other guitars. Found this one and I really liked how it sounded!
Great playing , thinking of taking up the banjo, been playing lead guitar for years, then started mandolin. The tones and playing you guys did was perfect.
