This channel will follow my passion for off-roading and fabrication. I'll do full vehicle builds along with general modifications for off-roading. I grew up working in my father's body shop and built my first truck at 13. Since then I've owned my own off-road shop for over ten years and worked as an engineer for a major suspension manufacturer. I have learned a lot of things the hard way and hopefully this channel can help you learn them the easy way. Follow along with my builds, product reviews, and trail rides.
Something truly “DAD” about how the exterior is destroyed and yet the roll cage is immaculately integrated into the interior plastics and the leather interior is spotless.
You’re much braver than I. I’m solid axle swapping my R51 currently but I’m going leaf spring like That Nissan Guy. I’m using a Titan e-locker axle though. I’ve already done the VK56 swap, Titan swapped the front, and now on to the rear axle. Mine is an 06 Off-road originally so I had to get the V8 first. I’m obsessed with my Pathfinder for the same reasons. Glad I’m not the only one. lol
@@cooperconceptsWould you mind sharing some pics of your front setup? How did you get the super duty steering in there? The steering shaft is so close to the upper control arm mount and not much room between the motor and the mount. I’m going to 4 link the rear now instead of leaf and want to solid swap the front now after seeing yours.
Great build! Love to see things done to the Pathfinder platform. Your Rhino Rack mounts are very interesting. How and where can I find some more information about it? Would love to lower mine a bit. Best wishes from Germany!
Wait so that was a VK56 V8 swap right? I was a Nissan guy and only.leaning toward Toyotas for their 2UZ V8s. I agree with the Body on Frame vs Unibody approach as well
Very nice, I've always been curious how hard it would be to swap an Xterra, frontier, or even a titan rear end into a r51 pathfinder, I'd like to do one up as it's bigger than my Xterra, just don't care for the independent rear end in them.
@@vagelisperrakis826 No issues with CVs but only because I was extremly careful about how I drove it. The steering rack wouldnt hold up to the 37s though. That is what ultimatly pushed me to SAS the front.
I actually did that trail in my diesel gladiator…on 33’s stock had 18lbs of pressure on nitto’s…Now I have 37’s etc with lift of course but it crushed my b.s. “sliders” I had at the time..anyways it made it like a goat. Very kool video guys.
I work on cars as a mechanic here in Nigeria and no one has harnessed the power and solid build of these Pathfinders like you did, have you seen the frame of these babies?. Your build rock.
