hi james, my cousins phone screen is glitching bad so i started watching your video, following ur instructions but i can’t get the screen off, even with heat. any suggestions please 🙏
miss kendra - i got you. Get a razor blade and carefully slide it vertically in between the metal frame and glass screen. Only push in to the beveled edge of the blade, then carefully pry it up. Do that section by section around the screen. I do this method on my iPhone 12 Pro Max screen repair: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rQZ5CCa_6oI.htmlsi=NThWPKJZAPoTPVpP
I get about being careful and safe, but, turning off the breaker, unplugging it and undoing the wires at the machine is OVERKILL. Even removing the garbage disposal was too much. No wonder a lot of people got scared and will call a plumber after watching this vid. Good job, but don't scare diy from doing something that simple.
I am trying to do this, but for some reason on my late 2013 iMac I have 3 drives (1 x Macintosh HD & 2 x Macintosh HD - Data), which one do I choose? They are also APFS format too?? Please help
I swear since watching RU-vid on my whirlpool dishwasher. I didn’t realize how easy and simple doing maintenance and work on a dishwasher is. Even if u aren’t mechanically and techy inclined u can still do everything by yourself. Crazy how much appliance technicians are to fix problems when u can do everything by yourself cheaper. The only downside about whirlpool is the parts are expensive. But are greatly designed for the most part to be easy to do it yourself repairs and maintenance.
4:03 This may or may not be right, but this is my theory. Backstab connections are meant to be one and done. This means that, you can only use them once. You can use a small screwdriver or something similar to stick in a release hole to depress the stab in terminal and release the wire, but since it's not springy, chances are, it'll permanently deform. If it does, the connection will be very loose (Not like backstabbing is already a loose connection to begin with). Thus, these are not supposed to be reused. So maybe they used that one once, then removed it, realized the wire was just falling out, and then used the screw terminal. But you should always use the screw terminals, or even better, ones that have a clamp that clamps the wire between the terminal and a metal plate and secures by tightening the terminal screw.
thanks, I have a really similar bathroom and I hate it. a lot of your changes are similar to what I've had in mind and it looks great. excited to save some money and try some of this myself. thanks for sharing
Now that’s a man!!!! Completely and totally unfazed by doing all those Brazilian gross steps to in the end, find the problem and be the hero🎉 looks like I’ll be calling a plumber😅
I don't know everything about home renovations, but I'm pretty sure you're supposed to put in an old work electrical box. Having the wires stick out of drywall is probably a code violation.
Does anyone know if it matters if you plug both SD cards into the computer and just drag and drop the folder from the old SSD to the new one? Do you have to put it on the desktop first?
My husband has checked, reset, removed pieces to check and at the end of the cycle, the hot water will not automatically drain out. We let the water cool down and then hit “ drain” and it drains out, manually. This is going on for about 3months. We have a 2019 Whirlpool. So frustrating. He’s checked hoses, connections, regularly cleaned the dishwasher.
You can completely skip the process of using a USB boot drive, downloading Mac OS, using the terminal, etc., by using the Mac's built-in recovery mode. Hold down Command-Option-R while booting, it'll boot directly into the Recovery environment, and automatically download and install the most recent version of Mac OS supported by that computer.
Thank you very much. The plug in the new garbage disposal was not knocked out. Fixed it myself. Great video! Simple and to the point. Saved me after having to replace the disposal.
Super helpful, Exactly same issue. Estimation from Local store when I called them, to replace it + installation charges. After watching this Video, invested hardly 30 mins and fixed FREE OF COST. God Bless You Bro…
