Phenomenal music sadly doesn’t save terrible movies. Thank you John Williams you are the one thing across all 9 movies that never disappointed, even when everything else went to shit.
Re-harmonising Kylo Ren's theme was a stroke of brilliance. From the villainous Ren to redeemed Ben, really feels like a different-same person. Absolutely love it.
This man has created the true emotion of these films, to this day I tear up hearing themes like Yodas or Rey’s, it’s some of the most powerful music I’ve ever heard in my life.
the new movies' music doesn't sound or feel the same. John definitely knew the material was inferior, and he gave an inferior score. No memorable theme from the Rey movies.
crazy how he looks about the same since 40 years. he looked like 70 at 45 and now at 90 he still looks like 70, he just stands outside of time. hope he still has a few good years to bless us with more scores. doesn't look like he wants to stop
All of that is great, but the little thing you did at the end with the jingle, almost as if it's a relaxing send off to the character, the same way its earlier use at the end of the prologue.
While we're editing John Williams' end credits suites. Could you edit the one for Empire Strikes Back so it plays the regular version of Yoda's Theme at the end of the full "credits theme" (use the one from Return of the Jedi) And also use the full version of The Imperial March
Tremendous work! Love the implementation of the various end credits renditions of the Raiders March, especially Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’s at the end, that one has just a perfect sense of finality to it.
God, why couldn't we have based the sequel series off of John Williams' music instead of basing John Williams' music off of the sequel series? He's the only one who could figure out what was happening the whole time...
"the only thought in my head when they told me to make star wars 9 was "involve john williams"" is an understandable, inevitable, even, yet not inexcusable result of a star wars movie
