As a tech guy who repaired these thingies? (O_o) If yur talkin' bout the transistor noise then...yeah. There's no way to lose it except a noise gate. (*´-｀*) Main reason why old skool tube or hybrids are so wanted by the purists. (ノ*°▽°*) BUT....amps are fOaR LIVE gigs and if any attendee starts being SnArKy and complaining bout Q-noise? ლ(ﾟдﾟლ) Buy'em a beer/shot and put'em in the front row so's you can blow his ears out fOaR the next week. ╰(▔∀▔)╯
They want 600 bucks at Firestone to do all my belts on my 2001 tundra v6. This is the closest video I’ve found that gives me any instruction. Done all sorts of repairs and maintenance but never belts.
Not anymore, I don't even own this home anymore.lol This worked great for a few winters.. if I ever build one for my new place I'm gonna make it taller. Other then that its awesome!

Got the g600xl last year and it’s been treating me well !! Also got the g1600xl, gx600, gx130c, gx1600, gt200, stealth 50, and gx160 all as heads !! The G-XL and GX series were pretty much the same amp but the G-XL were an older series. Also quick note, the cabs were built great but the speakers were pretty much the worst speakers ever loaded in a cab. The magnets in them were the same as the ones from small crate combos and sounds super tinny. Better to replace the speakers !! Heck, I had so much of those red combo crate speakers made by eminence that I loaded them all up with them and since the head can run 2 ohms and the speakers were all running by parallel, it was a perfect match !! Crates are super underrated amplifiers and with a good set of speakers, a eq and overdrive, they can be deadly !!
So glad to see someone else with the lov for these amps. You have quite the collection.. I am also working on mine, haha I got new speakers for the cab to bring it to 400 watts, I might reuse the old crate speakers to make two 2-12 cabs.
Hey man please read and review my comment. I have a 2014 mustang and I have the problem where one side works and the other doesn’t. I can get them to both be cold (since it’s summer currently) by activating dual AC and making the hot side temp read 90° before hitting max AC. I’m going to try this fuse trick. But my question was I feel like my mustang AC could be stronger. When I first start my car it gives me a gust of wind but lets off a little bit. Why is that? Is that also easy to fix? Another issue is my left seat only goes forward and backward. No up, down, or tilting in either direction. Just forward and back. Is this also a simple fix ? These are my only two problems.
Thanks! Fixed the Acura 2002....I used pennies and tape, but it's hard getting on by myself good enough, so I took it off and found a bolt that fit, I should never have this problem again...
Look…you get what you pay for…99% of this stuff is made in China regardless….you’re paying for quality control with other manufacturers not necessarily quality design…my rule of thumb is take it completely apart and then the reassemble with lock tight and you’re probably gonna be fine….thanks for the HONEST review
I was driving home at night, and didn't realize my headlights weren't on, because I use my fog lights too, and I was wondering why my headlights were so dim. I drove all the way home with just my fog lights. 💀 But now I know what to fix. Thanks for your video boss! You're a lifesaver!
Dont waste your money. The product optics is poor lot of blurriness around the edges and the magnification misleading as it is more around 8x then 16x.Ive compared it against a 15x70 Celestron binoculars and Zeiss 10x40.
Like you, bought mine in '90 when they were new. Loved it. Unfortunately when I moved I sold it. Just bought a 688. I'm 77 and it's too much for my old brain. So I just bought the 488, again. Hoping my muscle memory will kick it in.Appreciate you time and your mix, which sounds great. Marc.
