i made the mistake of buying the HS720R which is a very dangerous drone. Toilet bowls, loses control and goes zinging off to the back of beyond. I contacted Holy Stone and requested an exchange of the 720 for the 900. Got told to go pound sand. I am sending my 720R to friends in DC and have them evaluate it. Maybe force a total product recall.
Nice review. Was wondering which of the snaptain drones in your view has held up best since introduction few years ago? Sp7100 is infamous for numerous issues but sp500 and sp510 seems to have held up better?

Why didn’t they stop that big Chinese balloons that went across USA? CCP has number of ways to collect the data. There security cameras and so on. This is the bunch of politicians using their power for their vested interests. They are the one should be banned.

Not wanting to have it on is something a girl with you. They always get nervous about things that are literally impossible. Portola PAS 1 assist is actually preset by the Chinese manufacturer quite minimal in comparison, almost one doesn’t feel pedal assist engaged, while PAS2 is more noticeable assist. Climbing more steep gradient needs more torque engagement like PAS4 or 5. In comparison with many e-bikes in this most popular price range Portola allow throttle engagement from the start without PAS turned on. This is a mix bag feature, for experienced e-bike riders it’s definitely a plus, while it could be a safety issue for the unexperienced general public, which could experience a jump-start unaware of touching the throttle thumb button next to the handlebar grip. Since Portola 750W motor is claimed to have only 65nm torque power instead of higher power (65nm is usually the torque for less powerful 500W motors) it becomes obvious that depending on the rider’s weight the torque could not be quite enough when climbing more steep terrain.
Nothing shocking in comparison of these two e-bikes as the video presentation title implies. The shocking is one of the ads that stops this e-bike video - The AI Energy investment, the mankind game changer…😇👍 For your info I’d rather use Marc Chaikin time-proven software stock investment predictor than the nice-looking AI-startup presenter in this particular investing ad.
I pedal Portola 60 mi already. The power cut off when braking is a safety feature on almost all e-bikes in this price range of $1K and below. Unfortunately, I experienced a weird problem which I did not experienced with my previous two e-bikes in this price range. While pedaling and after breaking and following brake lever release the torque is not restored as usual. Simply the power stays off and R1U describes that it’s a problem with the brake levers, screw unscrew the hydraulic brakes levers in order to remove the code error 25 Portola generated. You tell me whether this problem should exist on quality e-bike like Ride1Up Portola in first place?
Great review. Mine just arrived today. The biggest problem I had with assembly was that the chain was not attached. I had to attach it. Got it tangled and had to remove the rear wheel to get it sorted out. Every unboxing video I have seen, including yours, has it attached. Most of all, I totally agree with you on the key placement. I get that the battery is locked using the same key, but for the sake of turning the bike on and off, why not put it somewhere more accessible?
the problem I am having is that when the app on the phone is connected to the drone, the controller no longer works.. I have to disconnect it from my phone and re pair it with the controller, then I am not able to use the app to see where I am going. I can't get it to let me view the app, and still fly with the controller.
@theagent578 I would base that off of the locations you have to fly. If you have wide open spaces and plenty of room then a 5 inch will be good choice. If you don't have alot of open space then a 3.5 inch would be better choice.

It was really really really helpful especially when you took us on the ride with you and you narrated the whole thing that was extremely helpful for me because I can tell from your experience that I would have a similar experience; my question is do you ever regret getting the normal battery instead of the extended range battery Because I like the $999 price!
@@enea3820 Thanks for watching. Yeah, the normal battery works for me good, but I don't use it as much as some other people.So if you're going to use it quite often.I would recommend getting the extended battery.

Listen, I hear you and you have a valid point, so do many others who post similar videos. I own thousands of dollars in DJI gear including 3 drones and 2 FPV quads, gimbals, pocket3, I use this equipment to create art as well as grow my video production business, so trust me, I do not want DJI to be banned, but the fact is that (just like Huawei), DJI is known to be controlled by the PRC, and (just like Huawei) they will get banned. It's not a matter of "if", it's a matter of "when". Here is why... I 1st: the reasons why DJI is deemed a risk to national security is likely classified and so that will not be made public, and the government does not have to "prove" to anyone if they have enough reason to do it. 2nd: sending letters and calling senators and politicians is a complete waste of time, they get briefings from DOD and other intel agencies that far outweigh any reasons that they get on letters and emails. Politicians do not care about our hobbies, filmmaking needs, agriculture, etc.. A better counter-argument is that, if DJI is helping China spy on us, then so is every other Chinese-made device that connects to the internet, that includes devices from American companies like Apple and Amazon, and so will we now ban them too?... But do you think those clowns in Capitol Hill will listen to that argument? Ask Huawei
@edwardjarvis1479 0 seconds ago My Atom drone, on it's first programed flight to go staight ahead, flew 80 feet and then turned 90 degrees and crashed into a tree. One arm broke. I can't get fixed by Potensic. Three months old. No more Protensic.. I'm out $400. I talked to Potenic support for 3 months. Buyer beware !!
I just got my Electric Ebike today. I sure wish they had included a hard copy manual. I had to just fake thru unboxing and set up. Then on one of the Warning cards was the website to get a manual and see some videos. It arrived but there is a broken metal part in the bottom of the box. So I'll have to contact Customer Service as I don't see anything that appears to be sheared off...well, so far. I was surprised to see the key in the bottom of the battery area! What the devil! So tomorrow, I move it to the garage and pump up the tires and play with it. And try to find out what's with that broken metal part...
I have a dji mini 2 and it has some of the best video and photo quality i have seen. But it's being repaired now so I have to see what all the fuss is about. Mine is otw now

Lol. I know exactly where you live from this video. You're not very far from me. 😊 I have the Engwe and paid only $600 from eBay when they had a code. I really really like the look and color of that other bike. And that rear rack looks 1000x more solid and stronger. But it might be more likely to get stolen. I plan to use my Engwe as a grocery Hauler and it's more boring design might make it less like to get stolen while parked outside stores.
I get horrible camera lag vs display and the app gets extremely bogged down once connected. It even freezes up, And this is in very close range too. Is it a android vs iPhone thing you think? Btw thanks for the video.
@wilbur7096 thanks for the comment and for watching. I do believe the app functionality depends greatly on the device your using. I was using the Samsung Galaxy 24 Ultra. Not sure which device you have but maybe try a different one and see if anything improves.
I remember when my air 2 could do this. That was before dji pulled their sneaky shit with a controller update and knocked the signal down. All their drones are dumbed down now. Like we don’t remember right? Just buy a new drone with the latest ocusync and get way less distance then the air 2 did 4 years ago….😂
Great video. I have the ND2-ND32 filter currently but may have to purchase the other ND32-ND512 filter, especially for the bright winter days with snow covering everything. I know next to nothing about photography so I'm just learning about this stuff!
I like this but that beeping on RTH is a negative! Perhaps one could cut off the sound on the display! Maybe they could change the beeping to a option, or with a blinking on the display!
