Loved the first time i trained Americanas. The professor told us specifically to NOT CRANK THE SUBMISSION OR YOU CAN GET SLEPT BY THE POOR SOD YOU HURT then my training partner proceeded to crank three times after i warned him three time the fourth i bucked got half guard pendulum swept the gronk and belted a mean knee on belly onto the cunt and held him there for about 30-50 seconds sinking my knee deeper every single time he would breath to the point a white belt three strips said he understands but just doesn't want me to catch a charge. Big fella then tried to beat me up during specific training so i kept pulling guard and catching him in arm bars from beneath. He tried to have a go at me for doing the same thing over and over again saying that im "being a bitch" to which i replied ill stop once you stop responding to me pulling guard the same way every sing time letting me catch you in them. He never spoke to yo me again but im not sorry because he was actively trying to crank the Americanas as hard as possible every time and wouldn't release for a good 3-5 seconds after i would tap. In conclusion he was a cunt and I tried my best to stay calm and respectful by completing that days training of which i successfully did. Yes i was being petty but if you try to hurt your training partner you usually won't be conscious to call 000 nor will anyone else unless you stopped breathing.
Whoever said this just doesn't know... most common mistake is probably bad forearm placement on their neck. Sometimes it's good to actually wriggle your arm back slightly to get your wrist on their neck instead of meaty forearm. They will tap

Kinda missing the point of what craig was saying. Hes saying that despite the popularity of adcc rising, the payouts have stayed the same. So not only does craig not want to compete since he makes more purely off his sponsors, its messed up that athletes are essentially getting fucked. Adcc is making significantly more money but is skimping on the payouts. Its bad for all bjj athletes, not just craig. How classic is it for gordon to completely miss the point on something like this and show his privilege in the sport.
Gordon and Seth are both of the opinion that ADCC loses money and is essentially a vanity project for the Sheik. Whether that is true or not I can't tell you though. Gordon missing the point is very on brand though lol
