This "So Called" Modern Jesus is being preached to Protestant Congregations all over America and it's Very Dangerous. The Pastors that preach this Blashomious Jesus who is somehow adjusting to the times will damn many good people to Hell. Thank you for your true message
This verse encourages believers to remain steadfast and immovable in their faith, knowing that their efforts in serving the Lord are meaningful and valuable. Paul is reminding the Corinthians that because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, they have a firm foundation. The resurrection assures us that our faith is not in vain and that our labor for the Lord has eternal significance. This is a call to live out our new identity in Christ, empowered by His Spirit, and to bear the fruit of the Spirit in our lives (Galatians 5:22-23). In light of the resurrection, we can be confident that our work for the Lord is not futile. As we live out our faith, we are participating in God's eternal plan and purpose. This perspective helps us to persevere through challenges and to remain focused on the eternal rewards that come from serving Christ (Colossians 3:23-24). So, stand firm in your faith, knowing that you are fully reconciled to God and that your labor in the Lord is never in vain. Embrace your new identity in Christ and let His Spirit guide you in all that you do (2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 8:14).
Fun fact, Jesus is quoted chastising his apostles 9 times for worshipping him... Worshipping jesys violates the 10 commandments. Enjoy your Norse Helheim (because Hell is from a different religion, and revelations states Gods army of demons come here, to earth, on a meteor from heaven)
That's hilariously ironic. "Don't lean on what other people say, trust me." Yeah, let's just blindly follow the wor#s of a book that was written when people were wiping their ass with sand. Because "our understanding" is flawed.
@@cazdoodle7737 Words are spoken. Name a single time that the words of god have been physically recorded. There are billions of us on the planet right? Surely ONE of us had found some proof, no? Blind faith leads horses to jump off cliffs. Blind faith leads dogs into minefields in a warzone. They might be okay, but they are living their life based on manipulation and assurance that puts their lives at the behest of the unknown. If someone pulls out a gun and attaches it to a floating device that follows you and says: "It wont go off, as long as you are doing the right thing". Well guess what, now your safety is dependent on what someone else perceives is the right thing. Now just to add a little something to that statement. Lets say that the person that decides what the right thing is, happens to be a radical racist? What if its a radical religious cultist from the Middle East? What if it's some traditional grandpa from China? Cultures and personal views determine what one believes is "the truth, the way, and the light". You have no clue what they actually meant by what they said 200 years ago, let alone 2000 years ago. Yet people are going to live their life by what hundreds or even thousands of different people translated "what they believed god said and/or meant" based on what is recorded in "his word"? Please. That's a great way to brainwash people into handing them money once or twice a week. The people that believe in god are the same people that will be hypnotized by a circus performer. I love it when people use the love letter premise. Where is the love in the old testament? Jesus taught the message to love and care for everyone and let his father's message be peace. But until then, god was pretty hellbent on eradicating everyone that wasn't "in his good graces". So the argument to be made wasn't that the bible is a love letter, rather than a warning. Jesus wanted love and kindness, but dad is the grumpy old guy with the loaded shotgun waiting in the car.
I've been puzzled about this story, as it seemed a very swift, merciless punishment. But Jesus himself underlined the need to be honest. (Matthew 19:18.) Makes me wonder if they were habitual liars and Peter knew it.
Oh thank you! As a recovering addict I had to learn all of this information as if it was all new. This was one of the things i learned during recovery and I learned it from reading the Word of God and putting it into practice. The outcome is that I pray for the wisdom and guidance, I stopped relying on my emotions which are natural but not necessarily reality. Learning to do this and practicing it has brought me relief from anxiety and fear and has helped me to seek God during decision making instead of relying on my own understanding. Thank you Jesus!
Not at all. Socialism commands people to give up their possessions (ie redistribute wealth) and the early church gave out of the hearts. They have because they wanted to and not because they had too.
@@chadzueck5549 so by that logic if your a Christian you should be a socialist willingly tell that to your republican leadership sure they will like it…there are a whole lot of people in need down at the boarder your kind and this hypocrisy only vilifies them
Those who sold possessions and brought the proceeds to the apostles were helping to further the ministry and very likely offering their lives to join the traveling ministry. This is what Jesus taught his first 12 and later 70 ministers that he sent out. @janicaleflore
It means that the people had been radically saved from their sins through faith in Christ, and because that shared experience, they shared their belongings and food without being told.
"With that being, let's pass a tray around and let everyone see what each other is giving to the church." Do away with the tray. Tithing is a righteous act that should not be done before men, it should be done in secret. These scriptures are about your main motives when giving alms. Little to do with the pursuit of money. People who want to look righteous but don't want to be righteous.
Yeeeeessss!!!! Those videos where they walk up to homeless people and give them food or $20 really annoy me. That's nice and all. But when your getting paid to be nice and you make revenue off of feeding homeless people in your videos, you're doing it for likes and recognition, that's it. They are literally making thousands off of the homeless and addicted. It is quite sickening.
Sounds a lot like Diaper Don, but I guess it doesn't count cause he doesn't actually donate, he takes the donations. Oh hey, he's got a Bible you might be interested in....
