Americans hunting domestic sheep is funny as fk! All tactical and serious 'we were able to sneak really close...' try putin yr hand out with sheep nuts they'll come to you ya daft buggers! A nice roe buck, a young buck in velvet and one of the neighbours sheep...! What did they charge you 15 k USD 😅
I stalk deer in Scotland and take around 40 deer a year, this is superb to watch a American enjoying hunting deer here and enjoying everything it has to offer, I was massively disappointed when Steve rinella did his meat eater episode in Scotland and had a boring experience and think I am correct in saying he didn’t enjoy it
The Rinella show wasn't Meateater, it was some other hunting based travel show. Was bloody weird though. I think he got stitched up by the production team as he abseiled of a cliff for the purposes of hunting, spent a night with some odd ball Scottish survivalist and then to top it all off went out stalking January hinds in a snow storm wearing non technical Harris Tweed. I love stalking in Scotland but his experience did look terrible.
Will done you 40 deer a year in Scotland, I have been trying to get permission for over 5 years, and came to the conclusion, shooting game of any kind in Scotland, is full of nepotism or money, that's fact,, from a scot
@@brianduffy5193 your not wrong mate it can be really hard to get shooting unless you have plenty of money, I got lucky and got an invitation to join a syndicate of 5 stalkers, only two of us really do any amount of stalking and the other 3 only appear once a blue moon, it costs us £450 a year each and there isn’t any limit on deer numbers just keep them to a reasonable number to prevent to much damage, it took me years to get land, you just have to keep at it and hopefully to will come along, good luck 🤞
Now there's a guy who buys every experience he's had. Maybe he's a nice guy, but his inexperience comes through in the way he handles his butcher knife, the way he walks through brown bear country with his rifle strapped to his pack, the way he points his rifle at his partner's back, and the way he daintily scratches away at the hide while skinning a moose.
LMAO!! The testosterone challenged should just stick to your styrofoam and plastic wrapped meat with its pink dyes, that another man killed and packaged for you, after a miserable, crowded life of medicated feed and antibiotic/hormone injections! We Men that make amends for our ancestors misguided mistakes by replacing the predators that they killed off! By keeping the deer and other game at HEALTHY population levels with seasons and bag limits! Creating and funding conservation areas to protect and manage them! To responsibly take enough to maintain healthy animals and herds based on pupil action numbers and food sources! If anti hunters actually did some research, and were HONEST about it, they would realize that with the absence of natural predators, deer and other game would rapidly overpopulate! Becoming pests and decimating all food sources and forced to die a miserable slow death from starvation!
And just think if uneducated governments have their way people will never have the lifetime experience this guy had never mind the money people like this bring into the Scottish economy.
