Already miss Nathan as We approach Fall and Winter 2022. I totally understand His new journey He is on. But knowing He will not be on the ice just makes me sad. I hope pursuing Your education brings You as much fulfillment as changing the sport of figure ⛸️ skating. Prayers that whatever path You decide brings joy to Your soul.
Nathen Chen is untouchable winning figure skating championships, including winning Olympic gold medal 🥇 in Beijing Winter Olympic games in China is icing on the cake! That is real golden!
I feel so blessed to discover Nathan's talent and performances, I now have a good collection of his skating to satisfy my yawning of his presence, even he is missing in the world of men's figure skating.
He will always be my favorite, no one will ever surpass him! So humble and gracious, such a gentleman and gifted skater, I'll miss him dearly, wish him the most blessed in all his indeavors in life!!
Great video for a GREAT champion. Fun facts: aside from Jason Brown, who had NO quads in his programs, Nathan Chen was the only man at the 2022 Beijing Olympics to skate two clean programs back-to-back with +GOE on ALL elements and NO deductions. Actually, he skated THREE clean programs back-to-back-to-back counting the team SP, and landed NINE quads across all of them. He's also one of only two men who, at the time of winning the Olympics, ALSO held the other two biggest titles in skating: World Champion and Grand Prix Final Champion. The only other skater to do that is Evan Lysacek. Interestingly, Nathan’s 5th place finish at the 2018 Olympics (297.35) was 14.14 points HIGHER than Hanyu’s 4th place finish in Beijing (283.21) and would have taken the bronze medal in Beijing! In fact, Nathan won the LP at the 2018 Olympics, and his LP score of (215.08) handily beats both the silver medalist's (201.93) and the bronze medalist’s (187.10) LP scores from Beijing. Nathan is just THAT awesome.
From 0:10 to 0:40 it's so great to see him working that choreography, and then it getting incorporated into the competition. Nathan always had the most amazing choreography, always fresh, interesting, and powerful, never the stale, go-to figure skating postures. I don't think I've ever seen a skater and choreographer so well-matched as Nathan and Shae-Lynne Bourne. She just really understood his strengths and sensibility, and knew how to bring that out in movement so well. His choreography was always as awesome as his jumps. That's why he's the best all-around skater there's EVER been.
He passes for us to be a person of incredible professionalism, I love to see him skating, it looks like he's flying. Congratulations Nathan you are awesome 💯
Great song choice and I love that you made it all in black and white. The focus is mainly on Nathan Chen's movements. No other athletes can move on the ice the way Nathan Chen does. His grace, agility and elan impart a sense of freedom and joy. He always amazes me.
Simply phenomenal human being🤗. I get teary every video I see of your outstanding talent and humbleness❣️ So proud of you Nathan👏. Continue to SHINE on ✨🥰
