What I am enjoying about these breeders, is that apart from their expertise, lets notice how happy and trusting the dogs are in their owner's hands. These dogs are happy to be with their owner. Great to see! Would have a Chow, except for the shedding in the home!
You can tell the dogs are well-loved bc they wag their tail, despite being blown by the hairdryer etc. Must be good owners, and great to see this lovely breed being groomed etc
amazing video as a chow owner and former groomer. Chows are the most notorious for the nail trims and feet trims. 2 of the 3 shops i worked at wouldn't even groom them. They seem to really hate their feet messed with. I applaud you for acclimating your dog to tolerate touching of the feet. I rubbed my chows feet when she was a puppy daily she dosen't mind at all now :)
@@nicoleserphant9423 Appreciate your comment, I wasn't sure if my Chow Chow hated having her feet messed with Or, if she just has ticklish feet. I wasn't able to get her used to having her feet rubbed when she was a puppy because I didn't have her then. She was 3 years old when I got her from the Kill Shelter, an owner surrender with three puppies, she was on death row and I was determined to save her life because I felt she deserved to know what it was like to live inside a house and be loved.
👍👍👍Very good video,Do u have more video coming up to trim junior’s hair until his total finish trim up.He such a GOOD BOY.and patient.I learn a lot from this video. Thank you. I will trying to do it for Sonny (my chow) .Have a great day and hope to see u soon.
Thank you so much for this video! This is the only one I have seen that would help many of the Chow Chow owners with the grooming and some think that they should be shaved in the summer....NOOO.
It’s to help dry areas in the fur, e.g. when they have a drink and all that water comes out of there mouth it goes in the fur underneath. I’m not very good at explaining so I hope this helped
@@touchofchow chows are the most wonderful breed I have ever owned & I've owned many amazing breeds. I have 4 beautiful chows, so thank you for the potato flour tip. Will you please link or list brands you reccomend for grooming? Such as detangling spray for daily brushing, one that won't attract dirt. Shampoos, conditioners, & brush/tool brands. Thank you so much! Knowledgeable chow videos are extremely rare. Your videos are the best❤
