Just picked up two CC510's (a slightly newer version of this camera) and made one good working one from the two. A R/C car NiMH battery pack inside the original battery case and it still records edits and dubs like a charm. Great fun to own some analog in this very digital age. Oddly, the kids have taken to it, a far cry from UHD 4k on their phones...
@@EpicHomeMoviez Not ideal because it's a little low voltage for the camcorder (causes it to complain the battery is dead sooner than it should), but I popped the casing open, removed the small sealed lead acid battery from inside and replaced it with a battery pack that's designed for remote control cars. I stuck the charging plug out through the vent holes at the bottom. That was the cheapest option for a high capacity battery pack, 9.6v 2000mAh NiMh. Adding another cell in series would ultimately bring it to where it should provide a full 2 hours run-time.
@@UserUser-zc6fx Due to the "sag" of NiMh battery voltage in use, the 9.6V pack would start fully charged at about 9.7V but drop rapidly to about 9.3 and stay there, which is right on the borderline of low voltage shutdown. I could use the camera for about 15 minutes on a fully charged battery. I have since added another cell to the series chain in the pack, and that has brought the battery life to just over 2 hours.
These were for a time the best of the best..hitachi made them for RCA, later these had power inverter problems like Sony and Jvc, ( unlike panasonic, that made their own capacitors) had cap leaks. If you caught it early and repaired it with chip caps, they are robust and long-lived. Another thing is depending how ot was stored the lens can fog ..needing a cleaning. If the lens is in good shape, the video these things make is quite remarkable.
Not counting railroads built to haul cut timber out of inland mountains my county had 5 different railways. Mergers left me with the BNSF & AmTrak. Metal relic digs have been frequent and rewarding.
I just visited your establishment and our tour guide that had a white convertible. That sad boiler told us that the number 19 that you have was in the movie stand by me and it was also in the movie emperor the North both are. Lies and not true don't you know that we on Google? Today.
HI to all out there i been trying to tell my old mate for years about discs going bad over a very long time all my tapes are data now i only use betacam sp digi for 4 channel audio with 100% new old stock tapes i got my dvcam unit out it did not like to be started up left it over mum plug in to the wall main ythe funny thing it's ok now top tip check the decks you have warm them up over a week plug in may have to change power caps betacam sp decks are tanks i have alot of them well over 60 still working plug in to main saves decks cold start can kill AV GAME
Former railways leave clues you may locate in orbital photography. Farm fields show a discolored line amid dirt where plowing broke- up rail bedding gravel, seek iron still laid over creeks, hillside cuts, even train wreckage can be see. Google the Eagle Mountain Railway east of the Salton Sea to eyeball an example. Do Google Maps, also.
hi got alot of betacam sp decks i fill sorry for them as they are not loved one bit so i buy them to fix up i do have about 50 betacam sp digi decks all working there's no low cost decks in the uk when i was on here with video i used to get people emailing me to find a home for the decks word got around very fast there was a pallet of digi betacam on ebay last year i wonder who had them there's no need to skip them yet i was told bbc stop taking tapes in 2012 for a ex bbc audio worker he's 80 about now
not having any luck with this downloading to a thumb drive. If you follow this, read the quick start to turn things on to how you want to set it up, for instance, flash drive or sim card, stop time. volume and it may work for you, it hasn't for me, yet.
Guys come on, please do some research before going to the effort of making a video. There are so many "i don't knows" and "maybe"s... isn't the purpose of a video like this to be informative ?
In terms of chroma keying on the F5, in 1080p, the F5 and F55 have an HDCAM-SR MPEG SSTP compression scheme format that allows you to record in 12 bit 4:4:4, which is great for chroma key.
Whaaaaaat ??? Why would you "down-scale" digital video footage from Digital MiniDV format.... to low definition analogue ..... then record it back up to inferior 720 x 480 digital format ??? Bahahaha .... Just output the MiniDV in it's native form via firewire or equivalent straight onto a PC fool 😋 Would be a better example if this video was referring to digitizing Video 8 footage or Hi 8 footage or VHS etc etc etc
Sony PMW F5 still the work horse camera for broadcast. Build quality is better than the FX6 or FX9 I just bought a second F5 - 4K upgraded as a back up ($2400 USD).
i have the small tapes you have shown at the first and put in the machine too play what kind of a machine is that ? the camcorder i used for recording does not work so i need a way too play the tape so i can tranfer too clear click
i have a portable video panasonic NV 100 power on but the STOP button is always on and any other button works, can you give me any advice or a solution please???
I just got the ClearClick 2.0 recorder. I’m using it to record old VHS tapes to digital. I’m having an issue though. When I try to record a tape that’s more than 2 hours in length it creates a second file and continues recording. How do I get it to record just 1 file?? Or will I just have to edit the 2 files so they are 1 in a vídeo editor program??
