Driveclub had some really pretty tracks, especially those in Canada, India, and Japan. Even after 10 years, no game has matched its rain effects either!
It's been a very long wait, I know. The delay could've been anything: needing more time to fix the translation, launching further away from Helldivers II to not be overshadowed, who knows? What's important is that it's very, very soon to be released.
@Mario_bland I'm not sure how fast an EDF6 fencer can get yet. Due to not reading Japanese well and equipping the wrong gear, I ended up stuck with no dash, but triple jump boost. The jump boosters have been hugely improved from EDF5, forward and side jumps are as useful as vertical escape now. I imagine with better gear, one will be able to have three dashes and three jumps combined, and there may be a way to dash-cancel with shields, but probably nothing like the hilariously fast Javelin-dashing in EDF4.
Absolutely! By design, EDF4-6 would've fit in perfectly in 1999, but the hardware wasn't ready for this much exploding. The dream action games of yesteryear are possible with today's CPUs.
I'm undecided. I'll have to see what it offers at launch, and if it turns out to be a wonky but likeable game like TDU2, or if it's overmonetised and underdelivering.

Nevadas definitely my favorite course it’s got great scenery but the roller coaster part messed me up I went off the track dirt ramp and my vehicle jumped and smashed into it (Edit: My grandpa has a FJ cruiser)
The automatic closed captions don't seem to be working yet, but they have been generated, I'm in the process of correcting them and making a real subtitle track, but it's 17,000+ words so it may take a while!
Ah, Gravity Force! Thank you, I couldn't remember the name. I've seen it but haven't played it, and didn't get to mention it in my rereview. You know what, the interpretation of this track was amazingly accurate of that time. Lots of the iconic buildings and scenery are accuratly placed and rendered. The shopping brands, the hotels, the museum, even the escalator in the malls are moving (3:17). (With minor tweaks and changes, of course) It hits me hard with nostalgia and regret because a WHOLE LOT has changed in Hong Kong. Not just the removed signature neon light and buildings, but also the whole vibe and serenity before the enforced laws that applied here. Everything was good. Until China ruins it. Speaking wholeheartedly as a fellow Hong Konger. Cheers.

@@SnakeOfBacon I was playin Baja the other day smithing started smoking in my fj my passenger and driver doors wore both off and my back tire was flopping around it took 5 minutes for a helicopter to land and fix it I even herd my driver go “AIR CONTROL WE HAVE A PROBLEM COME DOWN NOW”! hilarious stuff it’s cool that a helicopter is in it

please hold forward when youre racing it gives you the speed boost of crouching for a jump but doesnt stop you from turning so sharp you can see the different stances between holding forward and crouching easily on an alpine character

'Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo' is a fairly rare case of a zany parody manga being picked up by Toei and given some money, time, and an outstanding English dub. I don't know if any big studio is willing to make a show like this - with more than 10 episodes - today, as it's a huge risk.

Of all WRC-licensed games, I'd agree 6 is somewhere in the lower half. Of the 2010-2022 series, I enjoyed it more than WRC 2 and 5, and that's enough for me to recommend it (for $3).
