Remove the side walls. Instead, use double-sided tape to attach the mouse to your hand. Consider removing the three fingers that now fill no function and only add weight.
Your video made me realize that as a 1-3-1 gripper perpetually finding every single mouse to not be wide enough and using the thickest grip tape I can find to make shapes wider, the next frontier is 3d printing. Would be great if you could offer printing for your mod and let people choose what grip width they want!
@yannikau.5331 too expensive and was already pretty finalized on the ones I wanted to use. Also looks extremely delicate to put together and didn't wanna risk breaking it
Just a heads up the etsy shop is back open and the digital Hex Wing files are available for purchase for razer viper v2 pro and Death adder v3 wired and wireless.
Is your updated model already available to download? I liked the first one but the flexing of the thumb support made mine warp over time. Good to see this fixed now. I also found the pinky/ringfinger support a bit too low for my liking, would be great if you could do a file where you raise it a bit.
The PA12 suddenly becoming lighter than the other materials probably comes from the infill. The PA12 mice are SLS printed (a laser melting patterns into powder) and these prints usually are solid i.e. 100% infill. FDM printed parts usually have much less infill. Around 5-20%. The smaller a printed part is, the less space it has for infill. While the slicer may be set to some value it may not even apply, if the thickness of the part is already covered by the perimeters.
