I was in Cyprus in 1966/1967 as an 18 year old in the RAF. Fig Tree bay was a magnificent beach and there was nobody there, no hotels, only a dirt track to get to the beach. There was one shack where you could get a cold drink and a few eats. You would be lucky to see no more than 15 people there during the course of a day in the summer months. How things have changed for the worse!!

Japan is a beaut 😮 One of my dopemine menu items includes just been in a quiet place outside. To me, having it listed on paper reminds me that it is something I can do (if it isn't written down, I can easily forget that it brings me joy). If outside is too overstimulating, I go to the bathroom, where I can stay there, isolated and by myself, for a few minutes to destress. Other than that, I doodle, write, maybe sing if I feel like it. 😊
