Do not vacuum wet surfaces is a HUGE tip. Especially if you lend your Henry out to someone. It very much looks like a ShopVac, so the confusion is understandable.
Happens all the time! The wet vac (known as George here in the UK) is a great machine and good value for money. Deep cleaning washrooms is easy with a wet vac.
My Henry just 'died' overnight; I had it 17yrs 2nd hand & was unaware of it's full age, amazed to find it's actually *33 YEARS* old-!! 1991. It worked great all that time & survived at least 2 falls down wooden stairs, obviously 33yrs is a good innings but I wish I'd followed the 'unwind cable fully when in use' & overall treated it gentler! Hope the newer 1s are as well built, I've grown quite fond of the old, slightly battered & faded beige/brown Henry I adopted! 🤎
That's a true classic! Great story. Could you send me any pictures of this Henry? I think it's worthy of a mention in our next Henry video that's coming soon.
I believe the clean and recovery tanks are both 2.8 litres. With this technology, very little water is used. The debris and dirt is flicked up from the floor onto the cylinder then pushes into the recovery tank. You get very dense and dirty liquid in the recovery tank but not much water volume.
This is not working for me, I’ve multiple times with the new washer that came with it. And It still leaks, I don’t understand. I’ve tried support multiple times with no responses. I bought this during the pandemic for my home use. Can you help? Thx!
Your switch seems to click on and off I have now purchased 5 of these and the switch just slides back and forth with no resistence and if you move up and down fast enough it slides partway on to off. I started using 80 micron 2ith vital oxide and it's flying through it going through a tank in maybe 30 seconds. I switched to 40 which is a tiny bit better but still drenched everything even if moving much more rapidly than in any videos I've seen plus it doesn't seem to cover anything but the front no matter what I do... like can't get it to cover back of rail with electrostatic attraction at all with any of the units Is the company just a joke? They are shipping directly from victory
I’m glad I got on RU-vid and searched how to change the bag on my Henry Hoover 160 because I never would’ve figured it out and I am from the USA I’m such a noob
Good evening, I just purchased the Victory electrostatic back pack. What micron setting should I use to spray offices? Also I bought the pur tab solution. How many tabs should I use for 2.5 gallons?
Hi, my nozzle is also developing cracks, have you had any more reports since the other comment here? I'm outside the warranty now unfortunately. I had suspected rough handling but the products being used may have been responsible as well. I'm just getting started looking into it to see if it's a solvable issue.
@@sourcesupplies The cracks were on several locations of the nozzles plastic exterior. Some worse than others. The cracks near the base of the nozzle are the worst and seem to be the cause of the leak but they're developing in other locations as well. Thanks for getting back to me. I'll be reviewing the product we're using this week to see if the MSDS sheet can shed any light on the subject. Do you think over rotation when reinstalling the nozzle could result in cracks in the plastic? My only other working theory. I learned a good deal from your videos about the unit's own quirks though, thank you for putting these online.
Hi, we’ve not seen the light fail before. We’ve seen a sprayer fail but the light still comes on. Did you get this sorted? Victory are good with warranties.
Any clue on sprayer not working with a charged battery. Sometimes it works sometimes it don't. Extremely frustrating especially using them in the Covid fight
This is unpreventable. It has been addressed in the next version of the sprayer. It has a charge that actually draws the fluid back into the chamber from the nozzle.
I thought I was the only one, I guess do like me and carry a rag to absorb this involuntary discharge as is can ruin many important documents important for the costumer
Did you make any video teaching us the correct way of applying the electrostatico liquid on surfaces? I had seen it takes a while to understand the correct way of doing it without weting too much the surfaces, etc
Our unit ALWAYS runs intermittently when that switch is in ON position. The spray and the motor cut on and off. The spray comes out in sputters and spits. Is our switch defective? It has been thi9s way since the first week we've had it. Otherwise we love the tool.
Our back pack sprayer started doing the same thing. It did work normal for quite a long time but it started shocking us and the power switch is instant motor on and the solenoid at the handheld portion has been overpowered and it lets spray go by. Its not anything thats simple to fix or a cleaning issue i believe ours has got wet inside and damaged a pcb board. I called victory to see about a new board and...they only sell complete replacements seems like a company selling an appliance that's as much as a cheap car would be a little more willing to help. Even Kirby sells repair parts and their vacuum costs even more than the sprayer. Its not like need that much more money.
Love the videos! Thank you for educating everyone on Victory Sprayers. I’m a field marketing representative for Victory in Orlando, Florida. I definitely find your videos extremely helpful. If you ever have any other questions about our sprayers feel free to reach out!
Hey Chris! Thanks for the kind feedback. Comments like this make all the time invested in making them worthwhile. Hope life is treating you well with Victory in sunny Florida. We have plenty more Victory sprayers videos in the pipeline so stay tuned.
@@sourcesupplies looking forward to them! We are constantly working on ways to improve our sprayers functionality for our end users. Thank you again for helping us lead the charge in infection prevention!
I think the next two will be; setting up the backpack sprayer and also a deeper dive on the nozzle insertion issues we see that are the cause of leaks. The little rubber bung sometimes gets twisted ior dislodged and results in leaks.
@@sourcesupplies what I’ve seen in the field is that those little green gaskets that connect to the nozzle are breaking down due to lack of proper maintenance on device. If you’re not running hot water through the system to flush, that connection becomes corrupted and that will lead to leaking and possible ESD
Hi Karl. This video was 10 years ago. In a semi derelict office (large cupboard) that we used as we started up our business. How about you pop over to our new warehouse and show us how to fix a dispenser to a wall properly? In the last 10 years we’ve only fitted circa 15,000 units to walls of our customers. I’ll put the kettle on.
Ha thanks, Steve! You know how long this stuff takes so it's nice to get some approval from your fine self! Lots of work to do hopefully heading in the right direction. Keep well, sir!
Thanks for the feedback. Still learning about shooting video, Premiere Pro and RU-vid. You’ll notice a marked increase in quality from now on. Starting tomorrow at noon GMT. 😉
