The Nickelharpa should be the Northen European/Scandinavian pan-national instrument: It has so much spirituality in it's body! Listening to it makes me proud to be European <3
thanks, this was really helpful. I'm trying to find a clip-on mic for cello, and this prodipe is what I can realistically afford, but there's hardly any demos for it. So now I know that if it works for your instrument then it must be okay-ish for cello
Amazing instrument. Anders' work is easy to spot ;)! I started out playing, and so far love the horsehair. But I am tuned EADD, the estonian tuning. I really would love to also play in EAEA, but I can't get the deepest string right from just the hair. Could you please tell me what string I could use? Or what you are using! Is it a cello string? I am a bit at a loss here, because the deep A2 is not found on the classical instruments at that scale! Hope you can answer me ;)!
