Hi, im having some issues using multiple media plates on a VP setup. I´ve precessed the EXR files and every time i open the media ue crashes. Do you have any ideas on this? Our setup consists on 3 render nodes and one control node (even only on the control node outside switchboard and multi user sessions this error occurs). tks
Thank you so much for the tutorial, pretty straight forward. I would suggest using A.I noise reduction for your mic because the background noise its a bit too loud. Anyway, please do more tutorial, thanks!
Is this plugin superior quality or feature wise to the previous plugin method? Also are we able to do anything other than a bounding box crop? For example, can we cut out and blend a complex 3D section in the middle of a g-splat?
You should check out Kiri Engine. I'm doing all my gaussian splats with their app because I can pretty precisely delete out all the parts I don't want with an adjustable pen select tool. #KiriEngine
how do you get it to cast and receive shadows? for example, if your drop a simple cube into the scene and a spotlight, the shadow of the cube should cast onto the rock and grass but it doesn't.
What were your reasons for the WS 390 pro mobo? I would be interested to know your views of the flexibility of being able to add extra PCIe devices in the slots vs the (minimal latency) cost of the PCIe switch being in line.
Thank you for the clear explanation. Could you please tell me how the performance is affected, specifically how demanding the Gaussian Splatting model is for the Unreal Engine? Is it possible to convert the model to Nanite? Can a scene be created by assembling it from several dozen Gaussian Splatting models?
HI I imported a model created with Gaussian Spatting but in unreal it is overexposed compared to the original. What are the settings to change besides those you describe in the tutorial or is it just a light adjustment Thank you
the people that invented the Gaussian splatting method released it under license that you cannot make money from it. They will probably have lawyers on their ass soon lol
this is great! most tuts are pre 5.1. i want to do something like this for some realistic but not super detailed backgrounds coming through some windows in a building. how would i take a youtube clip and convert to exr? does it have to be exr?
