So do you use the stock camber and caster bolts with these bushings or do you need different ones. because those bolts and plates don't look OEM at all
Extremely helpful. Their manual is pretty atrocious, and you helped me figure out that they'd mislabeled my passenger and drivers side brackets, and also put the rivet on the wrong side. Took forever to figure it out. I like the quality of the rack, but they have some serious problems as a company. Again. Many thanks.
The issue is that these limit the caster , I’ve only been able to get -2.5 on caster even with dobinsons uppers that have -1.5 built in. I’m swapping out these for another manufacturer that can get -4/-5 deg
@@PolyPerformance I heard all about that story and still podium finish! That was fucken awesome!!! I was looking to buy a shirt but no luck, I was able to secure my magnetic coozy 🙌🏻
Sitting down when you can is great. It saves your C spine, your knees and allows more ficus on the task at hand. Lazy? Not in the least. Thanks for a great instructional video.
I neeeeeeed one of these asap. I installed a 3inch spacer lift on my 2002 Toyota sequoia. And I need to prevent my upper control arms from contacting my spring. What size would work best for me. 🙏
my twin compressor came with a wiring harness that doesn't have the two wires to pull into the pressure value? it has the two locker solenoids but the pressure value?
i does not adjust depth , the shim between the large bearing and the pinion ger it self adjusts that and the shims between the bearings adjusts preload .
@Poly Performance there's been a few times I lost the valve core when airing down 😂. Now days a use a 4 way hose but before that I used the same tool you're demonstrating.
Did the stock steering stabilizer both up straight to the brackets or did you have to drill out both ends of the stabilizer and make it bigger? Thanks.
Had a bit of an odd thought for these- ... could I trim the outsides of the bushings when I install them to push the control arm forward some? (trim the "fronts") and add some washers to take up the gap? I have the bushings ready to go :D If that would work, I may start prepping old arms and doing the work to replace them. I'm assuming the issue is the potential for noise/wear with metal on metal where it interfaces with the mount tabs?
It is an interesting idea, but we would not recommend doing this. It will almost certainly lead to excess bushing wear. If you are keen on moving the tires forward, some people have used our Taco Tabs in an offset position to push the lower arm forward a bit. However, we recommend having adjustable UCAs if you do this to maintain proper alignment.
Yes, on a lift the vehicle droops out a bunch and moves everything over. The strap helps pull the axle over to aid with installing the track bar. Also yes, we typically use Synergy grease and anti seize but other brands will work too.
Bro! My kid was so excited to see the truck that he loves so much from all the RU-vid videos in person. We took a couple of pictures. He wanted to get in the truck but you guys were not around. Thanks for the endless hours of entertainment. Again, thank you guys!
