Two questions. How does this trailer tow? I’m considering buying one and would like to know how much air resistance it has? And is there enough storage for food and clothing?
I want this trailer but concerned about insulation they use, they use bubble wrap. I can’t get an answer if other owners experience condensation on the interior walls. We live in the Midwest so camping in September can be nice during the day but temperatures could drop down in the 30’s I know it is not a four season camper but I don’t want to buy a condensation trap RV
How is the camper in cool environment? Do the walls sweat? I want to buy one but I’m concerned about using it up north when the temps can drop to mid 30s at night. The company uses bubble wrap for insulation on these trailers
I just ran across your video. I love it. You did a good job on the tour and your review. I am convinced this is the one for me. I am a solo traveler so this is the perfect size for me. Thanks❤
Love that you are already considering mods, LOL!! When my husband and I saw you going into the equipment storage compartments (great bags BTW, have put those on our RV wish list), we had commented that it would be cool if you had one of those slide out equipment shelves for your things. Then you went around to the other side of the RV and we saw the one for the kitchen items and thought "yep won't be long before you'll be installing those on the other side too!" We're hopefully getting closer to an RV purchase and dutifully taking notes from your past videos as well as these new ones!
Chris needs to teach owing your camper for dummies he has a way of explaining things that are interesting to viewers, and his tip & tricks are great. can't wait to see your next trip
I have a 2022 Eclipse and had a heck of a time unhitching…finally figured out what you did. Pull the truck backwards or forward with the chains on. Works every time. After a few trips it loosens up and gets easier. Thanks for the tip on turning the jack around!
We have found that the Power Watch Dog to be one of our best investments. It is well worth the $. Also something I have always done since I started tent camping 40+years ago was to always check to make sure I had power at the campsite box first thing. It only took me once to set up my tent in the blazing heat of the day to find out the power did not work and they moved me to another site. So now especially since we are in our Intech Sol Horizon that takes a lot more set up than a tent, I plug in my cell phone charger to the 20 amp right away and hook up the Power Watch dog to the 30 amp and make sure we get a white light indicator that all is good.
No matter how long I’ve been doing something, I always pick up something new. Putting the power cord underneath the camper to keep it cool - great idea. BTW, we added SnapPads a year ago in the stabilizers. Makes it much faster to set up - I remember how y’all said you move fast in your travels. We also added the OneStep wheel chocks, makes removing them a lot easier. Always enjoy your videos.
I'm intrigued to know how you're setting up your clothes storage. I think you may have shown it in the initial tour, but wondering if it's working out or if you need to change anything.
@audiomxr We are heading out in a few weeks for a long trip. That will be the true test. I believe the shelves we added will work great though. I'll video it when we load everything.
At 18:04 when you were running water through the new filter and your right hand was on the sewer dump? Ewwww...! One thing I do (especially at a full hook up site) is clean off the water spigot and handle with a Clorox wipe. I also use a Zero G (best thing ever) and will keep it coiled in one of those storage bags under the trailer just to keep it off the ground as much as possible, again because it's a full hook up site and accidents happen. As you mentioned, I attach the filter at the spigot end so there is less tugging pressure on the hookup at the trailer. Thank you for mentioning the ease of turning the electric jack head as I need to do that too. Congratulations on your new trailer!
I agree... ewww🤢 I honestly didn't notice it until we were putting the video together. We were focused on video making and will have to be more careful in the future
Great Video, at 18:00, we had the same problem once, there was a small drip from the water hose not being connected tightly enough, and we got an error message on our tankless heater, so we had to take it apart and let it dry out, worked fine after that, so the suction cup is a great idea to pull it away. Really poor design Intech !!
I added a trash can behind the toilet on the wall, and I added a container up high near the ceiling, above my toiletries shelf, to hold my clean clothes after I shower.
Congrats on the trailer upgrade! My husband and I can totally understand why you made the switch and look forward to the outside tour. We have continued to follow you even though a Little Guy has been eclipsed as our dream camper because we also admire all the trips you have taken. For us the "Max" in Turner-Max Adventures meant "Maximum" so the name still applies for us, LOL!! Continue to enjoy your travels!
We don't have any experience with convection ovens, so it's interesting to me that you wanted to have a rack that spins. I thought that was an advantage of convection ovens - that the fan moves the hot air around evenly.
Congratulations on the new camper. We lost our Max a couple of years ago when we got rear ended by a 18 wheeler. We considered the Magnilia, but ended up changing to a 23 foot Airstream Flying Cloud. I understand what I you said about it’s nice having a shorter camper which is why we went with a 23 foot. Good memories in the Max and I’m sure more to come with the new camper.
You can never go wrong with an Airstream. They are high quality. The Max was a great camper for us too but we can't wait to have more room in the Magnolia.
You'll love it, we have had our Magnolia for almost a year now. We traded up from the T@B 300 to the Sol Horizon for 3 years, to now the Magnolia. The Magnolia feels like a mansion to us, Lol... We've had no issues since purchasing. Enjoy !!
You might consider making a video around the reason for the move to the new trailer. Would be nice to know what you think of the build quality differences between the models.
We will definitely add some of that in on upcoming videos. We loved the Max and really just wanted a little more room. We will know more about the build /quality after our upcoming big trip in Sept.
Congrats; Like the change; I have followed you two for some time now. My previous TT had the 12V NorCold Fridge 10.7 and it was the best. NorCold which builds their own from the ground up. My biggest gripe and deal killer with the Intech is that their smaller models combined Grey & Black tank and that's awful. We had our sights set on the Sol Dusk due to the Twin Beds. But we can't get past the combined grey & black tank as one tank system on the Sol models. So it stopped us from purchasing. We wanted to downsize from our Grand Design 22mle. Love the Magnolia yet not into East to West bed although the inside person can get up from bed through the front end of bed. And their large Wet-Bath could use a sink. If NuCamp can do it with their Tab 400. We want to downsize some more with a twin bed set up. Sadly there is so much compromise with all TT's. lol Example NuCamp came out with the new 360 Twin Bed and we love it; yet we live in South FLA and hate their A/C system. We know since we were owers of the Tab 320 as an secondary TT. We may own two TT's once again. But If we decide staying with one; it might just be the Airstream 23FTB Has most of the check marks due to the twin beds and size of model. Anyway many continued blessings 🌅
So glad to see this video as this is the camper my wife and I will be getting next. It’s good to see it actually being used, not just reviewed at a dealership! Thank you and keep the videos coming!
Congratulations, welcome back, and thank you for this wonderful tour! We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our Magnolia so seeing how you've organized the space is very helpful. We look forward to more videos!
I misspoke on the video the fridge is 12v only and does not require the inverter to run. The AC is a model with built in soft start and we have run it for a few minutes from battery with the inverter on, so it works, but it would deplete the battery pretty quickly. We aren't planning to use it that way much if at all. We have a small yamaha generator that will help.
@yvonnerector5126 We loved our Max and it was difficult saying goodbye. Luckily, we have these videos to look back on. And I won't miss crawling over Chris in the middle of the night.😂
We have the Willow and LOVE it! But we did learn in the AZ Heat, in less than an hour local travel time, inside camper temperatures got to 99 degrees and our refrigerator temperatures got up to 45° 😢🔥🔥🔥🔥 what is the temperature monitor you use? I know you had it in your Max but with our new Willow, will need it more. Also, where did you get the rack for the oven/microwave? Love it and can’t wait to see all the adventures!! ❤
@@TurnerMaxAdventures thank you as always for your quick and informative response! Welcome to the InTech family (we just call ours Willow, all those other names, crazy). Glad you are back on the road and look forward to your travels and hints/tricks in your new Magnolia.
Not sure what you mean Steve. Yes it weighs more but also has larger tanks, tandem axel and is taller , wider, and longer. So we expected it to weigh more.
Gd. Morning! Happy to see you guys filming again! Last April, my husband & I took the plunge and purchased a 2024 Intec Dusk! We really LOVE our trailer (Ollie), and wanted to add our congratulations to you both!😁
